As a scrap deck user, the opponent got a very lucky hand. His starting hand didn't not have scrap searchers or scrap golems. Having those as a starting hand could have easily been a brick. Most scrap players including me don't three because of this. He also successfully got three scrap searchers in his graveyard in his first turn too. Starting with scrap raptor with scrap factory is the best starting combination which he had. The opponent's good hand and no negates from the player was just a rare occurrence. The highest I got with scrap is platinum 4.
Yeah I always pull a golem, searcher or mind controllers :( Yeah plat 4 is the same for me I just can't beat any spell or trap decks or any deck with calamities in. Now if hand traps were not a thing scrap would be very strong imo.
This is weird. He is playing a Scrap List with a really low ceiling. For some reason after gettting the second best hand he can he only has a Naturia Beast and a 3200 ATK Apollousa. You could easily get 10+ negates with hand like this if the enemy doesnt have any Handtraps.
Yeah, against decks like these, Your decks needs proper cards to counter it since it will just keep er going like no tomorrow. A Lightning Storm, Droplet, Dark Ruler No More, Evenly Matched, Sphere/Kaijuu or even MST should do the trick to stop them from dropping cards for their Scraps. Though Bricks depending on archetype if they are too many. Though Soul Draining their asses stop their GY effects.
4:07 if you use your unchain link monster to link that twin head away, you might have a chance there cause they can't activate their scrap monster GY effect(since it's not destroyed). But if they top deck a scrap monster then the recycle will likely come back.
Crazy actually, I first started yugioh not knowing anything (couple months ago..😢) and I had scrap cards after a few weeks literally had no idea scrap decks were this good! Also anyone know if scrap decks can counter dragon maid decks? Cause everyone’s using them nowadays
A play you can make using scrap is using golem to summon searcher to your opponent's field to destroy their monsters. There is a good video of the match-up on the channel Master Duel Cali. I would recommend that video.

Chain Strike will be really happy with this deck…joke aside, u need some 2nd turn card like Lightning Storm, D/D Crow, Veiler, Evenly Matched…or smt like that, or else they’d spam forever

Scraps can make a turn 1 true king of all calamities which is pretty great considering that is all virtual world really does
