  • I love testing out my market setups before the craft shows come.
This is my first real indoor market and I was nervous about how I would do my setup without my tent, but it really came together.

I love the Yarn Head. What a great idea. I'm gonna try and make a couple of those. I like that better than mannequin heads!

I had to stop watching for a few minutes, because my brother needed me. I was telling him about your yarn ball for the headband & he mentioned about wrapping a scarf around the bottom (I hadn't reached that point in the video). Funny how you thought that, too. We still have some my mom made before she couldn't see well enough to crochet & now she's gone (the end of 2019). I'm going to try that when we finally get back to selling at craft shows & flea markets. I don't make headbands, but I have some pins & barrettes that I can display on hats & other headbands. It's one of those why didn't I think of that ideas & I'm usually the one coming up with those ideas. lol Thanks for the tips.

I just had to smile when you said you weren't one of those people that can just put things up the first time and have it look perfect. I also belong to your group where I spend many hours arranging, rearranging, etc!!! Enjoyed watching you go through the process - a very helpful video for all of us to view. Makes you see the possibilities.... Thank you for sharing your time and talents.

I have an Associate Degree in Marketing & I rarely leave things the first way I set them up. Our problem is we make a lot of different things & don't always take the same things every time. I mostly have it down on what works best in a 10 x 10, but in an 8 x 8 is harder. It's harder & easier than people think it is. Sometimes people just make it too complicated with big & bulky displays when more simple & faster is better. Many of what now take I put in baskets to store, transport & display. Some things like ornaments & my brother's framed art will need to be hung, but the rest makes it go faster & easier. I put the baskets in plastic zipper blanket/sweater bags to keep them clean & free of dust. Good luck.

Taylor - I can’t believe this video is three years old, but it’s still such an inspiration. Love the videos and really enjoy watching your set up. You do a fantastic job! I am getting ready to do a five day Christmas show and I’m pretty nervous about it. LoL

Take a photo of the setup and keep it on your phone then at set-up time you have something to reference. and you can /should set up at home to get an Idea of a set-up like Taylor has done. figuring out a set up on show day is not a good idea. also put your more expensive and best sellers at eye level.

Lmao and it’s your fault I slept in until noon today! I’m hookdbyroxx on IG and I was up all night watching your YT vids and then went through your IG. Haha You should have way more likes and follows IMO! I thank you for so many great ideas and maybe even some confidence that I’m so lacking in. 💐

Hi Taylor Lynn! I wondered where you got those heads from where you can show your hats and headbands better? I have a few winter craft shows and would love to have something like that! Thank you what a great video, your videos have been super helpful to give me ideas for my next markets!

I have a craft show coming up in 2 weeks. I was thinking of making some blanket scarfs and I just tried my first one. If you don’t mind me asking what size fabric do you use to make yours?

Mendez Family Fun I think it would, but it wouldn’t be wide enough to cover the entire back. But make sure you measure your own crafts before purchase if that’s your plan because all stores sell them in slightly different sizes

You don't need a shirt tied around your waist! You behind is a perfec size for your frame and shape! Why make it look bigger? You are talented and beautiful! Celebrate your self and love it!
