    This was the best craft fair set up video I’ve found. Thank you so much. I love that you included the prices you use. I didn’t know how to price anything. ❤️

    I had to laugh, no offense, to your fast talking. The reason is, the previous video I was watching, the two people were talking sooo slow, that I sped it up to 150% to get thru it. Then I started watching your video and thought 'Hmm I must have the speed still set fast' Anyways.. LOVE this video, your products and love your booth setup!

    • @fiberandfox

      I am notorious for this 😂 I watch so many channels of people who talk slow and methodically and it's so relaxing but...there just isn't even a speckle of that in me 🤷

    What an informative and insightful video! Love how you creatively used so many things you had. Your booth looks welcoming, organized and creative!
    Wish I had help when I did markets!
    Love your expressions and that cricket providing background music. A bit surprised that there were no squirrels!
    Thanks for sharing, loved it! (And by the way, this became a 30 minute homeschooling adventure...as we were all glued to your new channel!) You have a growing fan base here at our house!

    your so cute! and this is soooo helpful...LOVE your set up! I am doing indoor markets and how shawls to sell... how would you suggest displaying shawls (no tent)? I have one dressform i will bring in but can display one. thanks.

    • @fiberandfox
      @fiberandfox  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Thank you! I struggle with that one too, especially since I don't usually have a lot of table space indoors! A dressform is a great start. I've brought an antique ladder with me in the past and draped them over that along side my table. Some events let me bring my garment rack to hang them. Or maybe drape them around your hat stands (like a neck) if you have any? I love to know what you come up with!!

    • @fiberandfox
      @fiberandfox  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Currently for the events I only have one 6ft table at later in the season I plan on putting just a few on the table and storing the rest underneath and just mentioning to people I have other colors available if they are interested!

    • @toastymornings
      @toastymornings 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fiberandfox Ooo the antique ladder is a great idea! I just googled it find a picture. looks like amazon has some possibilities. This is my second year doing craft fairs. I made a poncho to sell in my very first craft fair... and had it on my one and only dressform and it sold within 20 minutes of the start of the fair I was so happy. wish I can bring in about 6 or 7 dres forms LOL. Hubby would flip haha. Thanks again for your ideas!!

      Sorry I didn't respond before today, I hope all went well for you despite the rain! A change of shoes, towels and tents with sides would be my recommendations. My mom and dad ran their local church craft fair since before I was born, my aunt and mom were vendors at different craft events since they were in their 20s so I would consider myself extremely comfortable around the environment. When it comes to doing a show on my own at the age of 28, I freeze 😂. I have suddenly forgotten how anything is supposed to look or work and the thought of doing one scares me. Thanks for showing me better than my mom’s unhelpful advice of “Just make some stuff-not a lot but I guess whatever you think you need” 🥴

    This just popped up in my suggested videos (three years after you made it, ha!). I’m 8 minutes in and am really enjoying it. I just finished my first full craft fair season, and I completely agree. I had the best successes at markets that did not allow direct sales products. The only time I tried a market that allowed direct sales products (I did not know that in advance), I paid $40 for my booth fee and only sold $50 worth of stuff. Yeah. Like you, my target market is people who enjoy quality handmade items. I’m upscaling my booth set-up for this coming season, so this video is super helpful! Going to watch the rest of it now.

      They were "expensive!" But making beanies by hand with a quality yarn from a pattern I designed myself, applying hand crafted laser cut custom tags and self-made pom poms to each one and then lugging them to markets is also very expensive. #knowyourworth

      I actually loved it! It was authentic and I get nervous and over talk so this was very reassuring for me to see a real person with everyday imperfections! If it was perfect I imagine a lot of people would get discouraged and think they might not be able to do this because they aren't as polished. This lets us imperfect people know we can do it too!!! THANK YOU!!! It inspired me and by the other comments it also helped many many others as well! I hope others will see this and realize no matter what we do there are always negative remarks and not to let them discourage us from finding the hidden treasures in our own social circles! You are definitely a JEM of rare & high quality!
