Glad to hear that you had a good week. My team’s motto this year is “meet the kids where they are.” It’s so hard to see kids struggle with skills you expect them to have mastered.
This was super fun to watch you finding your rhythm and happiness! It was also helpful as a mom who has to homeschool her kindergarteners this year to see what they might be doing in school to get ideas.
This will be my first year teaching kinder. I just watched your digital planner video, love it, plan to use it too. Very well done! Looking forward to learning more from you! Thanks for putting the time in for all of us.
Thank you for sharing so much about what you are actually doing in the classroom. It really helps me to get a better idea of what I am getting into. I start student teaching soon! 😅
I am sooooo happy you had a wonderful week and you are slowly getting into a routine - it must feel good…… I have fallen in love with primary scouts (I even introduced my sister who is a librarian in our school to her) - thank you so much for introducing me to her…. I can’t wait to get the all are welcome pack to do with my kiddos this coming week - the coloring sheet you had your kindergartners do about how to be kind would be perfect to go along with green and red choices (my classroom management I use)….. I too have been going really slow with my little preschoolers- still haven’t found ‘our groove’ yet but I know it will come….. Soooooo excited again you had a great week!!!! ❤️
We are working on our names this week in preschool and I use the magnetic letters on the baking sheets as well. I also write their name in markers and they take glue and go over their letters and then cover the glue with tissue paper. I love the name petal.
+Mrs. Call's Campers Mayleen , I am glad that you have had an awesome start to the school year and I hope that it continues and you may want to continue taking things slow when you get the rest of your students in so that they all get your routines down and you welcome them and build up that relationship with them too . Keep smiling and motivating your students . Your smile looks beautiful on you and a little motivation can go a long way towards success . - Dwight

lol when you were talking about teaching K/1 babies to put the glue on the paper and then place it on the page....I'm over here still teaching that to third graders 😂😂😂😂
We still go over those directions with middles too. It found one of my 8th graders covering the entire back to glue a half sheet in their notebook. And I introduced tape… we literally had to discuss that 2 pieces were plenty
@@monroe.Kristin haha the funny thing is, I just let my kinders and first graders go at it with tape and they always use the right amount! 😂 your older ones must realllllllly like it 😂😂😂
Your first grade from two years ago didn't go through the pandemic. a LOT of the first graders I saw over the summer (I decided to work at a summer camp this summer ) did kindergarten remote the whole year and really struggled with basic skills. like holding scissors. I have to remind my THIRD graders to glue the paper not the page they are gluing it on. Like that is so annoying lmao

It is!!! And I totally agree.
I’m teaching first grade this year and I want to say 95% of my kids still don’t know their letter sounds
Love your positive vibe this week. I love how honest you are. Teaching really is a rollercoaster.
Thanks for noticing! And yes couldn't agree more...m

You seem like such an awesome teacher!! I’m looking at this video almost a year later… glad you are happier now.

This is amazing! I couldn't agree more. No matter how much prep I did in my classroom I still never felt like I was ready.
I feel that way now! Every time I teach the first class of the day is never as good as the others 😂
Thank you! Right? It's impossible to get everything done anyway 😂

@@MrsCallsCampers ahhhh perfect timing! I literally start tomorrow (2nd grade) 😁😬💕

Aw! I haven't done a tissue paper activity yet (I keep forgetting to buy tissue paper haha!) maybe soon!
I'm a 4th Grade teacher, but you make me want to teach younger kids.
There's good to both 😂😂😂😂
Love all your read aloud books!
I like your digital planner! where is it from?
For the ones that need help focusing...I like to use a color and draw around the item.
Your fine motor bins are great! You have so many great ideas. Where did you get the plastic tubs?
Oh thanks! Walmart :)
Love all you videos! So relaxing to watch after a busy day at work! Random question but what kind of eye shadow and mascara do you use? Looks great!
Wow thank you! I'll share in my next vlog! I've been switching it up :)
I need more details on the Cookie Butter Monday coffee! What is that?! How can I make it?! It sounds amazing!!! 😍
Check my newest video babe!
Love your videos. May I ask where your slides are from? I teach grade one and I love how simple they are with three steps and visuals!
Thanks!!! They're in my tpt! :)

Do you have the sheets for your aid linked in your drive? Would love that!

I see the resource for 1st grade poetry, but where are you getting your kinder poems?
I’ve been looking for a good kinder poetry unit for weeks…
Aloha Kindergarten but her blog isn't available anymore
Love your videos! Where do you get your reading resources (Chrysanthemum)?
I mentioned her in the video but it's also linked in the description! 🥰
Co-teacher sounds sweeter and lets the kids know they have two “teachers”😉
We do refer to her as their teacher still! :) but she isn't a Co-Teacher!
😆 you had me at Britney Spears microphone, best way to describe it
HONESTLY! Teaching let's us wear so many hats 😂
How do you link your iPad to the board?
Airplay!
Do you get an aid because you are teaching a split, or do all teachers at your school get an aid?
My little "Britney spears " microphone!🤣🤣🤣
Taylor Swift was right LOL 🤣
She always is....... 😂
