Now that's a musician, that is how it's done folks. What can you say that hasn't already been said, Tom Bailey sounds as good today, as he did in the 80s. I remember slow dancing to this song at my prom with my Gf in 1988. That was 34years ago. She is now my loving wife, and we still dance to this song in the livingroom. Baby I love you so much, you are my heart, my soul, my love light, when I look at you baby in my eyes I still see that 17 yr old girl that I slow danced to this song with. Yes we're 52 now love but my love for you has not diminished one little bit, I still feel that fire burning just like it did way back then. My love for you is eternal and I'm so honored to call you my wife. Tom you are phoenominal thank you for this timeless song God bless you my brother♥️🌹🌹🌹
They put on a great show...Seen tons of 80s and 90s groups...Duran Duran, INXS, Billy Idol, U2, Boy George , Tears for Fears....countless others.....80s and 90s were great music times....NO AUTO TUNE
@@zapkvr I quite liked the New Romantic Era, and went to see Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran, Simple Minds, Erasure, but this is one band I would have like to have seen. Dancing to their music was a joy!
Sounds great here. Saw Thompson Twins live in 1984 open for the Police [with the band Madness], and man was that show truly SUPER. Still one of the best shows I’ve ever attended. It was magical. Cheers!
Got to see them Live in the 80's Like the 60' & 70's there was so many incredible bands with such Amazing music in the 80's so glad l got to experience so many of them live Seems like yesterday yet it was over 35yrs ago now
My wife and I saw the Thompson Twins at the Royal Court in Liverpool , back in the day….what a show! Janice Long was there and many others. Alana was her superb self. Please bring back those days before formula pop written/sung on someone’s computer?
I was at this gig. Actually I’m behind the big screen setting up Wet Wet Wets gear during this set. It’s a pity Toms voice hasn’t done so well over the years.
If he colored his hair back to brown, he'd look younger. Nevertheless, he's holding up well, clearly taking care of himself. The suit looks great, too.
You made me question my memory which makes those who are old enough to remember the 80’s feel old…..how rude lol. I had to look it up because that’s not what I remember The album was called Into the Gap

Tom, love your music but get some young folk on the stage singing, bringing energy - people will still love it that you are there and join in , in the chorus.
Tom.put the mic down your struggling mate to sing this classic song sounds nothing like the original shame ..love the group in the 80s leave it there i think...the audience sung most of the song ..
I agree the vocals aren’t so good but the sign of a great song are the memories that come rushing back when you hear it. For me there is so much nostalgia involved I enjoyed this performance. A great song with great memories will always put a smile on your face no matter what
