I think a co op version would be awesome, like for a 2 player co op your friend could open their own shop across the street, then you could compete with them to grow your store faster. Obviously the game could account for the extra customers, so you both still get the same amount. I could see this idea working up to 4 players. Im not sure how big you can grow your supermarket as I haven't played this game yet, but was just watching someone play it and I love it! It would be awesome if you could grow your store to the size of the whole block, and then maybe even add extra stories eventually, maybe even add non food sections. I cant wait to play the mobile version when they release it!
Rounding to whole dollar amounts or to 50¢ is genius!! I’m good at math and can give change fairly quickly, but that’s just going to simplify things even more.
Ive been playing this game in increments. Each store upgrade gives you enough room for one shelf small refrigerator or freezer of each item type. Order items in stacks of 10 and just keep replenishing stock.
somehow got to day 85 before realizing there were already mods for this game lmaoo. the stocking struggle has been real, although the last 25 days i was yeeting stock to the storeroom so that helped pick up the pace. glad i wont have to lug 40 boxes over and over now thanks for the guides
Such a great little game. I'm really looking forward to to seeing how it develops. One tip from me that I learned the hard way is the importance of saving. Earlier today my day ended/started a new day, completely restocked, bought a stocker and a shelf and didn't open the store. Turned off the game only to find when I tuned it back on a few hours later that absolutely everything I had done after the store closed was gone. Half empty shelves, no stocker. I should have known better but it got me.
if I want to check the box if it is totally empty all i need to do is close the box. If there is a picture of the item it means there are still remaining items on it. But if it doesn't have a picture it means it is empty so. All i need to do is close the box before i put it inside the recycle bin.
@@JazzXXL It might, but I didn't notice it if it did. Would have to try it repeatedly to be sure. Only one save game at a time so I don't want to try it on my current game.
Game You have the options of hiring a worker who packs shelves. When your amount of money becomes 3,000 and something, buy a warehouse for your store. After you make money, buy a storage rack and hire a worker. Place the items on a storage rack and let a worker do the rest. You will start focusing on your warehouse.
I bought the self checkout which is available in the furniture. It has helped me not hire so many workers and kind of saving me money. If you don't like being at the cash register I would recommend investing in one. Also I barely use the stockroom so I am kind of upset now
anyone seeing this video a month later. been playing for a bit and i’ve realized that you can upcharge products by about 5-10% above the market value without getting almost any complaints. you will get SOME but what i do is put everything at 7% above and then round to the nearest nickel
quick way to find 7% above the market value is simple: say an item’s market value is $5.00. if you want to add 7% more to $5.00 simply put 5.00 * 1.07 into a calculator and that’s your new price of $5.35
it's sold over 50k copies so im sure some publishers gonna ring them up lol. Gonna need a lot of qol updates first though, it becomes a slog without mods currently

omg there's gonna be a mobile version? that's so cool! also the co op mode makes me think of overcooked. thatll be so fun
If you were competing it wouldn’t be co op, co op means co operation, competing isn’t co operation

It certainly made my life easier

Thanks so mutch playing today great video keep up the amazing work
THANKS!!
You also forgot to tell people to not worry about a stock room,
Why? How would the stockers get their product with no stock room
@@jlira01you don’t unlock stockers for a long time. You have access to the stock room wayyyy before stockers and it’s pointless before that

I usually always have a vanilla game and then a modded one.
@@SMOKEMTV Smart idea!
What are the mods and how do I install them?
Thanks for the tips. My supermarket is level 17 now and i am still alone behind the checkout. It is getting rough sometimes, but i still manage.

It's crazy how addictive this game can be even though the concept is very simple. I love getting into games like this and watching Them develope.
Hi. I always save my work that I do for the day. I also save my work throughout the day. I hope this helps.

Great Content! Tip... for the Card Key pad, you can use your keyboard number pad to punch these numbers in, rather than mouse clicking it.
Oh I know. I just got soo comfortable using the mouse lol. You are the 8th person to mention it lol
5 things you've learned from playing "Cooking Simulator" huh ? Time stamp 6:35 close to the end.
lol yup. fucked that line right up. To be fair though I played TONS of cooking simulator lol
On tip#2 Reason why you can walk around town is cause they will be adding Deliveries.
Fun fact, you can rip off your customers with the cash register, but not with the credit reader.
Not sure if that effects the overall game though.
but wouldn’t it effect the store level or something

Are the stockers bugged? Mine just stands at the door.
They are a bit buggy still. O have he'd mine stand at the shelves until I quit and came back in to reset them.
How do you change from pounds to dollars?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
you do releize on your outro you said cooking simulator, right?
Yup noticed it at the last minute lol. I played quite a bit of that game so it's not suprising I screwed it up.
No reason to pick this over King of Retail, this has a general lack of literally everything.
@@j.w.5510 king or retail huh. I'll have to check it out
The dollar sign goes in the front.
Thanks, this was very helpful lol
Cooking simulator lol
Lol yea. I said it with soo much confidence too lol
It feels like Im not doing any progress in this game only stagnating
Yea toward the end it seems you need to use the loans to make any real progress
The tips about rounding out prices and having one or two items made me start a new game despite being at level 20 🤌🏿🤌🏿🤌🏿
As a supermarket employee. I thoroughly enjoy this game
its very satisfying
how can you be happy of doing a slave job 24/24

Do know that there is a storage room in the game
How to make them pay the full price
Do they have it at ps5
Thank you. I found out that if I can sell a shelf that I bought. I ordered the wrong one and I didn't want it anymore.

I'm not surprised. I played that game a ton, plus I'm a bit of an idiot. i suck at this content creation thing but here I am for some reason lol

Cooking simulator
How do i remove an item that i accidentally put it on the shelf?
You need to have the appropriate sized box and right click the shelf
Any% speedrun to bankrupt
This is probably the best market sim help I’ve had so far bro
Appreciate that :)
I don’t have a storage room
you need to unlock it at the PC in the management tab
I need this on console🙏
its possible if we make sure we support it
