- A special day today, firstly a TH-cam creator meet up, that's myself, @TheRunningWhale and @TheRegularRunner at Alexandra Park in Manchester. Why, because it's probably one of the fastest, flattest Parkrun courses in the North West. Enter Matt, after weeks of training for this challenge. And at his side, Craig from The Running Whale who would pace him to the sub-25 Matt had been working so hard for. And the reward - a lovely cake made by Becky, his wife. But only if he did 24:59 or better....!
What a video. We'll have to get Craig and Mandy to meet us at Morecambe as Paula and Mandy running together will make the best video!

Thank you so much for coming and making the day so enjoyable. It was fantastic to finally meet you and I will never forget the first time I ever broke the 25 minute barrier.
I hope that this run is a sign that you are on the road to recovery, and I'm sure you will be back to your best soon.

Oh this was so good to watch. Yes Matt did brill but as did you. It was good to see some clips of you running and you fair moved, a sign of things to come mate, you’re a superstar 🥰

Definitely looking like a return to form and heading back to where you previously were - I thought that after the Nice sub-60 10km! Thanks for sharing! (Have added TheRunningWhale and TheRegularRunner to my subscriptions too as they'd somehow passed me by!)
@@J0hn.Turn3r Thanks John, it’s been very very frustrating for the last year or so but I’ve just kept at it, I’ve still enjoyed running despite the heel issue impacting my training. I’ve just tried to compensate with gym and aquafit to keep me aerobically fit😊
