      Because of the "immense help" from eliminating gluten from your diet, do you think you may have Celiac Disease? Have you ever considered getting a Celiac Disease test from the doctor? it may provide clues as to why you had these problems in the first place.

      After leaving the dr office highly disappointed, I decided to start doing some personal research. Approx 3 years ago, I cut out gluten and there was a noticeable difference. If I started eating gluten again, certain symptoms would return. I still go to my dr especially for diagnosis but I have a natural dr and I watch videos like these. And I love Dr Berg videos. "Hope your mom is well"

    • @MissAnneThrope
      @MissAnneThrope 8 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I can't even list the misdiagnoses I've had with doctors. One doctor, when I was in the throes of menopause, told me I just needed some prozac. Several more experiences like that prodded me to, like you, do my own research. I love Dr. Berg's videos, too. He has confirmed many of my own conclusions and guided me to even greater health.
      And my mother is in heaven, so I think she's doing well.

    I had cronic diarrhea for 2 decades. The last 2 years were terrible.
    Tried vegetarian diet, tried diet high in meat and everything in between. Also tried probiotics. No results.
    8 years ago I started changing my diet and lost some kilos. It got a bit better but still had "surprise incidents" which made going to work a challenge (on 1.5 km from home).
    In 2014 I decided I'll try water fasting, too. To my surprise, 3 days were enough to end that horrible period. after those days of no food, got back to previous diet in a progressive fashion, so the body would not be shocked. Since then I can eat anything.
    I also learned that an overloaded liver (been eating huge amounts of bread) has a significant contribution to diarrhea. I advice anyone who has issues to do all the lab checks needed and not just try to guess. Guessing is fro gambling, not for the health of humans.
    Now I'm 2 weeks away from a nutritionist exam and hope that after it I can help other people even more.

      @Lo Gamma GT, TGO, TGP for liver overload and differential diagnosis (TGO/TGP ratio can show some diseases) - Your doctor might recommend more tests and you should do them all.
      Triglycerides, fasting glucose and HbA1C for carbohydrate overload (acute and chronic)
      CA19-9 and CEA as markers that can, in some circumstances, indicate bowel and pancreas issues.
      Doing a colonoscopy is extremely important to differentiate certain issues (to see if there is cancer, polyps, aphthous ulcers - as in my case).
      So is a coproculture to check for parasites and/or their eggs.
      If diarrhea is torturing you for years, all of the above must be done.

    Hi Dr.Berg. I'm absolutely addicted to your videos. Please advise:
    1) Are amaranth and white rice ok to use if they are soaked overnight in water with a little apple cider vinegar to break down the phytic acid and lectins?
    2) Dairy is mainly contraindicated because of Casein type A. Would kefir be ok? Is casein broken down by the fermentation in kefir? Alternatively is goat milk ok to use?
    3) Since it is difficult to get completely organic Glyphosate free food always, is there any processing such as soaking in baking soda or other processing that can be done to break up Glyphosate, pesticides and other chemicals from fruits, vegetables & other foods before cooking and consuming them?
    Thanking you for the guidance.

      add more zinc supplement. i had read a user comment who used 75 mg of zinc and got result that felt better after it. Studies also shows zinc is the one of most important minerals on GI track repairing. but eveything is all. i mean you need to stop gluten, dairy casein, lactoz, sugars, carbs for a while. especially first 3 days of diet. add only bone broth in first 3 days of diet only by supplementing glutamin, MSM, glucosamine, 75mg zinc, some vitamin a and e and k2, 2-3 gram daily omega3, digestive enzymes just before meals, some multivitamin which contain other b vitamins and other minerals as well. you will get fast result with this. after first 3 days, slowly and one by one add others to check if you are tolared to them or not. and a note, never eat when you dont feel very hungry because it will cause more inflammation which makes the healing worsen .

    I have IBS and find that increasing fiber (not broccoli though) helps my condition. And steamed cabbage and cauliflower have helped tremendously. I'm also unable to process most seeds, with the exception of pumpkin, squash, and sunflower. Roma tomatoes are fine sans seeds, same with peppers. Raw greens are fine on occasion, but steamed is better.

    • @darlinspaces
      @darlinspaces 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good point but it still could be all seeds. I realized something when I did a preparation for the scope. My body held onto flax seeds because of my condition so to know what is going on, it really depends on seeing the condition of the insides. I dont have an issue with most vegetables, it is the stuff contaminated with glycophosphate and probably most raw fruits that give me trouble. Have you ever tried Gundry diet? i love cabbage but it gives me pains in my stomach, I have crohns diease and its always trial and error and what may be ok to eat one day isnt good the next . One of the questions i always get asked when im having a bad day, What did you eat?? trying to explain to someone it doesnt matter what you eat sometimes it could be the heat maybe you drank to much water that day anyting but they always like to say u ate something you know you couldnt. I think its really hard for people who dont have crohns or IBD or even IBS at times to understand us. We have to evaluate everything that would eat and drink all day long and what may seem so simple for some people isnt for us. If i want to go out on my day off i cant eat and ill go hours without eating becuase i have to doing things out of the house. I do drink apple cider vinegar everyday with water and it has helped me feel better. Im vitamin defficent i know that so i also take lots of vitamins and i went to the doc thinking everything was great but i wasnt absorbing much b12 and i took a supplement now i have to double it. anywho thank you for explain how it works with our intestine i have shown this my my friends and family so maybe they cant get a better understanding of me. =)
