Final update: this little reel is the little engine that could th-cam.com/users/postUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e . It performed flawlessly and was easy to adjust drag in the moment while I was battling a 35lb bat ray behemoth. Mind you, this reel is spooled with only 25 lb braid and 25 mono topshot. It's paired with the kastking telescopic heavy power rod and the two work well together. This has now earned my respect and confidence when traveling and fishing. If you have ever hooked into large rays and sharks, you know they pull extremely hard and can run forever! This thing clamped down on the fish and was easy to adjust during the fight. It has a nice decently fast retrieve as well. Twice the fish went on mad runs and I was able to gain back line quickly to avoid spooling.

Saturday I caught a 9 lbs 5oz my PB ,. Using white & chartreuse Googan spinner silver big blade small gold blade 3/8 size

I got my baitcaster combo today so happy. Of course spooled it and had to through it lol. First fish was small but they can only go up from there. If yall don't already have one. You slipping on your best round it's the best combo I have out of 14 and all top of the line. 9 of them are lews and still better

Ive noticed Fletchers fishing improve a lot hanging with Noah keep at Fletcher 😊. You guys should do a fishing tour different southern states. Then venture north. Up here the mouth of Newburyport where river dumps into the ocean. Then plumb island and the canal at the cape is killer. Of course in these areas youd catch stripers 😊

It’s crazy to see that the fish there are doing the same where I am at. I’ve been running into fish that are picking up my bait and moving it without grabbing the hook. I would take 10 swings at the same fish before ever hooking it. Fun times 🤙🏾🎣

Wacky rig on a drop shot using a plumb or red colored worm. Then proline nightcrawler scent is bass candy. Pickerel like it too 😊
That plum Ocho is similar to red bug from zoom, in south Texas the red bug trick worm is a go-to for dirty water which is what alot of us fish.
