Loved this one🥰. Hidden ponds are Ultra Cool 👍. Andrew, glad you got Charlie out of the mud muck. Several times a year a young deer will get stuck in the pond muck and will sink like quick sand from their own weight if not rescued quickly. Our neighbor has developed quite an ear for hearing a deer's distress call. He then goes running to help them out to the bank again. Of late he has taken to carrying a strong rope and leaves it at the ponds edge for use with the larger deer. It seems like they fall in while trying to drink after (or during) a good rain. So good that you could help Charlie, he's just now learning the fun and the dangers of Ranch living.

Lojo, my man, you need to get yourself a big danged machete knife and start carrying that with you when you're exploring. Start hacking out some proper trails as you navigate your ponds and before you know it you'll be able to stroll right in there.

If you want to get more hookups with the bluegill and the other fish I’d recommend you use a 1/32 jig with a little Berkeley gulp minnow 2inch

That crap ducks, I've had it for 30 years, from the Phillipines.
AYO catchin everything. A catfish, a brim, a fat sally and some trenchfoot. A day in the life of a badass swap stompin ‘Tuber. 😂 Just don’t get no swamp moss on yer twitchin stick Mrs.AYO would get pissed. 😂🤣
Clear as much brush as you can - put down plywood if needed to create a trail that the UTV can navigate through - use the dump bed to hold a larger cooler with the bubbler and you can transport the fish back to the main pond
should get a good weedeater with one of those metal blades and clear out around that little pond and around some of those swamp spots
It would be cool building a creek between the 2 ponds
Tournament bags for transporting fish. Then you can pause at the swamp and let the water refresh.
Maybe you could make a trail with your new side by side. Or maybe get you a bushhog and cut you a path lol. Great video keep it up.
I think that its about time to get a brushhog and do some work to make some paths between all of the ponds.

I could be wrong Lojo, but I worked for a lakes department, that blue pipe leading into your “hidden pond” right by your “weighing hook” that looks like a dredging pipe, it is most likely connected to your big pond. There for in the case you want to dredge the bottom of your main pond of silt, and muck, to keep your pond in good shape, and also helps drain your pond and regulate water Incase of extreme rain fall.
Like I said I could be wrong, but that is exactly what that looks like and could be of use in your future on the property!

Get an insulated bag from Kroger, Aldi or the like, grab the aerator off your bucket and hook it up. Easy to transport and will help you keep them alive.
New property is full of surprises
Lojo you should be stocking your pond with any size bluegill you catch the more bluegill you have in there the more they multiply and the happier the bass are
Using a big storage tub is a good way to transport more than 2 or 3 but I recommend a buddy and an atv😂

See if you can load up your buggy with tools and cut a path through to the new pond. Then you can haul a tote in the bed for transporting fish back to the main pond. If you rebuild the breached pond wall it will likely triple the fishing area you have.

In New Mexico we call them Blue Gills.
On their gill plates they have Turquoise stripes with larger mouths and they are built like a small bass
