Honestly the only reason they're doing these changes to crucible is because if you look at destiny tracker the majority of active players are in crucible not PVE because PVE right now is a fucking joke! My experience playing destiny since 2014 is that when the majority of players are playing crucible and not as much in PVE that's when you know the game is practically dead...
Brother what, you are talking out of your ass. If you look at the charlemagne tracker, the most accurate one, its 300k-400k daily players on average across all platforms, and over 50% of them are in PVE. I just checked, 437k players and only 59k of those in PVP. You just try to doompost, its the same old thing..
Destiny players when bungie overhauls something in a big way in the game:
