    Thank you so much for this. That's what happened to me. I wore glasses for many years, then suddenly developed an allergy to nickel and now I have to be careful what my glasses are made of.

    Very thorough and informative. In the future you might want to also touch on the thickness of plating related to wear and tear down to base metal. Also, I'm a little surprised you didn't mention argentium silver as a more tarnish resistant material (though more expensive and not always available.). Love you!!!
