you didn't mention that this time BMW changed the automatic transmission from ZF to Aisin: a gear box typically used by Lexus and Toyota and others. But you are very pleased with the result. Competition is good :)
It is used also by VW, Audi, Volvo, Opel and Peugeot Citroen.

Hey Kyle, one thing I miss from your old newer style is when you would drive the car but just let the viewer listen to the sound of the launch/drive. Kind of like pure sound. Any chance of that making a comeback? Lol

Comments like this are depressing. Do I love filming old cars? Yes, I truly do. Are there opportunities to do so these days? Not really. For one, I don't have the time to travel and hunt things down. I'm barely keeping up with life as it is. Two, I don't live in the same area that I did when I first started this channel. The opportunities aren't there. Sorry, I'm trying my best with the opportunities I have...Wish more people understood that.

Huh? 6-cylinders are everywhere! This particular model is a 4-cylinder. Not sure where you derived that from.
@@saabkyle04 I mean that the top model of the x2 (like the new m135i no longer) is a 6 cylinder and instead a 4 cylinder. More downsizing.

How the mighty have fallen? BMW has some incredible performance machines out nowadays and there's more choices for people than ever before. I see no issue with manufacturers wanting to fill a niche if there's a market for it. Not everyone likes the same thing, but I personally think it's cool seeing so much variety in the market.
