I don’t care if the interior looks dated as long as it doesn’t look cheap. In fact, the dated interior makes it look more like a driver’s car and less like a video game. This car is often ignored by other reviewers so thanks for covering it.
The interior is not dated. It's retro with a little tech thrown in. I think it looks Great! So many people are hung up on smoke and mirrors and high tech stuff that doesn't work half the time. Hooray BMW!
This is based on the MINI Countryman/Clubman platform. It's the same suspension set-up, and engine pairing albeit, tuned to BMW's standard. The M35 is basically the same a John Cooper Works with the same horsepower stats, but feels even more dialed in. Personally, I'd rather be seen in the BMW, but I've owned a MINI, and I'm on my second BMW, and the most considerable difference between the two is the service department. MINI service is much better than BMW service, provided you deal with a dedicated MINI dealer, and not a BMW that offers MINI.
And obviously the mini is sportier and more fun. My wife would prefer the bmw though because the mini is too stiff and sporty, she want some cushy seats like I guess the bmw is
Hello, I have a selection in one bazaar X2 M35i 2022 with adaptive suspension, I heard that with sports suspension is too hard for longer rides, I was discouraged by many from the m35i due to the harshness of the chassis, my question is if this model with adaptive chassis (0223 Adaptives Fahrwerk) is acceptable for normal driving for comfort? It definitely looks like a hatch to me. The back reminds of the Chevy Cruze hatchback I used to own.
It is hatch. It's no secret. In the rest of the world, it's available without the elevated suspension.
