I think one of the coolest things about this is that the creators knew what they were doing with Lightning fighting Sephiroth. The Japanese VA for Lightning also voices Aerith so in a way it’s kind of like a long awaited rematch in a different world.

The original Dissidia and Duodecim are the only "Final Fantasy" games (not counting the Bravely Default series, but I personally don't count those) that I've ever actually *finished*. I have the PSP version of the IV bundle. I have the PS Store version of VI. I have the Vita version of X and X-2 Remaster. I just can't seem to actually *finish* one. I lose interest, might be all the Guide Dang It! moments. Dissidia I love. If I didn't have a personal policy of not buying a system just for a handful of games I would play and Nintendo tends to have more games I actually enjoy, I would have gotten a PS4 just for NT.
If you ever get a PS4 there is a free version of NT you could try where they switch out a selection of 4 characters each week, with the rest of the characters being purchasable a la carte. It’s a different kind of game from the other two but I still recommend it if you can find it cheap! Again thanks so much! I will continue to make videos that people want to see!
@@XagrebilNarhtoc1110 lightining sure, by the end of her story she is pretty much a goddess herself, but idk about noctis, while the power of the light that comes from the ring is insane, sephiroth at his peak was a being capable of stopping "holy" casted by earth, and became the closest thing to the existence of jenova that is a being capable of destroying the world
I love how in 5:02 you can see the Warrior of light and Garland protecting everyone else from the surge Those two alone started this beautiful series and they will damn well protect it.
I just keep coming back to this, it’s one of the best you say runs that have been made it’s bug ass shame it doesn’t have more views cause it definitely deserves it
Seeing this clip again. I just realized that Garland's sword is big enough to serve as a shield for heavy tanking. Never really thought about his sword like that since he uses a lot of heavy attacks.
It’s crazy to see Garland throwing that sword around one handed like he does, knowing that if he was more deliberate in his strategy, the villains could’ve had the upper hand. Thanks for watching!

The failsafe was it being such a huge bright target that even if it somehow missed, the retaliating armies would have to be legally blind to miss it. Hilarious
This is just Jump Force. But if Jump Force was like this and not the one he had. Would be amazing if there was at least one cutscene with this kind of smooth animation.

To be fair, literally EVERYBODY missed in this fight, except when a giant shining freaking dragon appeared at the end. If they missed THAT, then everyone in this fight should be legally BLIND.

You’re very right about that. The originals were definitely better. The only things this game has going for it are the graphics and cutscenes. The gameplay isn’t very good at all.

I always loved the idea that all FF were connected, and tho there is a 'local' conflict, something greater is lurking beyond. Having all heroes and villains fight together a greater threat as Shin Ryu, is absolutely fullfiling. Shame Dissidia NT was such a rip
