Just started watching the vid, but hearing how your friend is an hour late.. ahh that is one of my pet peeves! haha I tell my friends, whoever is late is buying coffee lol.. the bigger the group the better! lol
@@melvintanchannel haha yeah bro.. thats why I always arrive at least 10mins early.. haha whoever is late "thanks for the coffee in advance".. and if they are a no show.. its breakfast haha
Dun ever stop for more than 2 weeks. It's not easy to come back. Esp the weather now, just push your bike out, it's the only way to get back on the wheels and feel the wind. Ride safe bro.
@@melvintanchannel Welcome back that’s most important bro! Well done and ride on! The freakish weather is affecting my rides too, just gotta push myself out this weekend!
Tubeless for roadie is going to be end of life... Use TPU tube... Easy to replace or paste, overall lighter setup (lighter non tubeless tyre n tube). Spare tube not as bulky as conventional one so got room to carry 2, no need to top up Sealand... Sealant can form a harden layer to inner tyre which add weight... TPU is the way to go
Hahaha true... But for me still tubeless is the way to go.... Cuz In 2 years of tubeless cycling I have zero tyre change and probably only 4 times puncture vs 6 years of cycling using tube I have had almost 15 times of Punctures with 2 times of those cannot repair and had to take grab car home. So far tubeless I will still carry a tube and use it if I need it 😂
Hey bro I am using Bliz sunglasses. th-cam.com/video/ji6c51jKNpY/w-d-xo.html Check it out... It's one of the best sunnies for the price... Not too expensive and we'll built.
@@melvintanchannel ride for health n make new frens. To all riders, if can manage time try not to stop ride for too long, back to basic is not fun at all. Peace n love ✌️❤️
Hello melvin, may i know how you can have courage to cycling with all the traffic nowadays (feels like more than before covid) ? I seriously feel scared of hitting by a car during cycling, thats demotivate me.
Yea it's true bro.... Cycling in traffic is never... never easy... And it is very very dangerous... You can always cycle in kampung area where traffic is less... But on highway always better in a large group of minimum 5 and nothing too big then 20...its safer because larger group means more visible by traffic and also u will have more confidence in a group BUT the group needs to be experience... It's not 100% safe it's definitely a risk... But u can reduce the risk... Example choose roads with less cars, ride early morning and on Sunday as traffic is less.
Yea radar is good as an indicator... I still look back for the peace of mind hahaha. But cycling in traffic is still scary despite ur well equipped bike and yourself... U r really dependent on external factors out of ur control.... Probably just have to get use to it and be as safe as possible and hope for the best from other motorist 😂 but radar and side mirror is really good to have...
@@melvintanchannel Radars are great because they can detect the amount of cars behind you. You might be able to hear a car coming up but you don't know if it's 1 or 2 or 3 cars. I do try to avoid riding in busy traffic when I can.

Always bring a spare inner tube even if you're running tubeless. This is common knowledge.
