Beginning from Ghana's Nima suburb, Ndume Green takes a look at slum dwelling in three African countries (Nairobi's Kibera, Lagos' Ajegunle and Accra's Nima) for IFN TV; the complexities that make these places thick.
Originally I'm from the Netherlands. In 2006, I stayed in Nima for a few weeks, before visiting other areas in Ghana. After leaving Nima, I discovered that it has a bad reputation in the rest of the country, but I really loved my stay there. Poor yes, but the people were soooo incredibly sweet and welcoming. Each day, I spent many hours walking through the streets and alleys of Nima, and people greeted me warmly everywhere I went. I was invited into peoples home and offered food many times. I never felt unsafe, not even in the dark. I can not wait to return and show my wife and children what an amazing people Ghanaians are.
OMG!! That's my hood......I really miss it. Nima is a community with unity, peace and love. You would know how good the people of Nima are when you stay there.
@@gingerlove9085 Alright, the Nima cluster of school.Orthe Islamic research school which is also a public school but they teaches both English and Arabic. So you can choose to help any of these schools.
I love Ghana!!l thing l love from Ghanaians is they are not tribalism, they don't do religious differences. 0% tribal war,0%religious differences. God bless our homeland Ghana 🇬🇭👌✊
Gibrill Jalloh when? Some parts are highly developed but they have always had a problem with waste management. Managing rubbish has ALWAYS been a problem. It’s one of the safest one of the highest developing but never the cleanest
