- Lee Tiernan is head chef of St. John Bread & Wine, East London's little sister to the world-famous St. John Bar & Restaurant, in Smithfield. Once he was done cooking up some pig's head blood cakes, he took us to Tooting's finest curry house, Lahore Karahi, where we were nearly set on fire by the open-flame stoves in the kitchen. Then we drank Breton cider and Jameson at Lee's local pub, the Golden Heart. That culminated in Lee moonwalking his way down Brick Lane to pick up some fresh bagels that he stuffed with ox heart and Sriracha.

Munchies is by far the best series from Vice.
Agreed
+ Epicly Later'd is awesome too.
With that ox heart bagel you can see the starts of black axe mangal, so cool
love these munchies episodes
I'm a restaurant manager, sometimes it's hard work, but I like it, I like
food, drink well and I like a good restaurant, and this program inspires me! Well done !
I’ve eaten at St John’s half a dozen times and it’s always this kind of atmosphere. It’s brilliant.
Henderson, a real fucking legend.
great episode
good people
So much better than US munchies
British people have a much better 'night out' vibe
One of my favorite Munchies episodes so far.
One of the best episodes of muchies.
Awesome Munchies episode! great people, places and food!
Enjoyed every second of this munchies GJ
The fried pig skin is chicharrones! My mom used to make that for me all the time as a child lol.
Is that the same bagel bakery that action bronson went to on his episode of munchies in london?
Lahore looks amazing!
Keep these coming Vice!!!!
Culinary creativity and tradition in the heart of Spitalfields, our usual port of call when we are working in London.
I've been to that bagel place when i was in london! Holy shit!
those bagels were by far the best thing i ate in london
though montreal bagels are 100000x better.
Love the way on the only British Munchies I've seen, it includes a pub, oh yes!
I wish I saw this BEFORE I went to London!
These are some of the nicest guys that have appeared on munchies. I didn't find they were douchey or trying to act over the top like some of the people who have been on before. It's a nice change for once.
Good episode, keep me coming!!
*tounge planted firmly in cheek*
We need to get Gordon Ramsay up in this bitch and see what happens! lol

Love this episode! Nice Chap!
Seems like a nice geniune guy and a hell of a cook. If I'm ever in London I'll be sure to check that place out.
Best Munchies in a while.
I need Munchies now dammit
The cockney English accent reminds me so much of a Southern American accent for some reason.
Hahaha i love the drunkness
I miss those van cabs. Where everyone faces each other. We need those in the USA!
Man that looked like a bloody fantastic night out!
i was thinking halfway through if he didnt go to brick lane bagels for salt beef bagel i'll actually find him at work and slap him. he knew the deal though.
I love this
I miss London!!
Love that artists Reverend Bizarre top
From the title I thought this was the guy who directed Die Hard
Fave thing to watch when high
How long do you want us to watch the advertisement?
I've heard of Tom Jones, but never actually seen him. When he was introduced in here, I was thinking "He's a fucking rockstar?"

guuuud
>Talking about online dragon porn
I love these people.
More Munchies UK !
London definitely isn't a 24 hour city. As an American it's strange being there drunk after the bars close. There's nothing to fucking do.
thats what u think! tut tut
yea??? damn headn there for a week holiday, so literally nothing is opened 24 hours ??
chris saber Not really. It's bizarre since London is such a large city. Here in America even small cities have things that are open all night.
WessCNY You are drinking in all the wrong places.
wow that barlady was smashed; cool vid
Repost?!
i've watched many of these videos and this guy is the biggest/ most likeable guy that the series profiles. the rest of them are pretentious douchebags that take themselves too seriously. americans have no banter whereas brits do
look at all them toffs and hipsters
They are very good looking people.
I like this episode it wasn't pretentious.
Guinness sounds amazing right now
I had a smoothie.
Yup I need to go and make breakfast now as I'm starving fuck.
I like this guy, no homo
Is his friend with a Reverend Bizarre t shirt?
so what i get from these videos is that filthy rich hipsters all around the world go out eating on saturdays and sundays, to several restaurants in one night, sometimes get really drunk on the side, and miraculously stay thin and fit after doing this. man, im spening my weekends wrong it seems
He is yum.
+Elle S yikes
Fuck that's delicious
@Charlie Woolley ... Reverend Bizarre \m/
Ferguson is fuckin smashed haha
Classy drunk
Food is better then drugs
Burn bridges bomb what???
I want to go to London :)
BADLUX tunnels!
Gavin McInnes. Vice are trying too hard, but I like Munchies a great deal.
Thought we americans ate bad... Lol
You do.
The lighting in those restaurants are horrible. I wouldn't be able to enjoy the food there.
Yeah, because sitting under halogen lights would be so much better. Get real buddy, restaurants have reduced lighting all the time, it makes it feel more relaxed...
Trigger200284 You obviously missed my point completely. I was talking about the indian restaurant that had metro lighting in it.
Stefan S Well, obviously I'm not going to.
Hr. Direktörn you need to go there, the lighting is part of the ethos
hail reverend bizarre
r/dragonsfuckingcars :D
Noice.
Lee is hot
cc: fuck this shit
A load of posers
So what this series new direction is to show that all restaurang owners and chefs are alcoholics? Then its a job well done. Get a grip and try film something without booze for atleast 5 minutes
people drink in britain. you can't change that. It would be like asking vice to film a documentary in colombia without mentioning drugs or the fact it's fucked up
... You realize that chefs are a notoriously drunken, drug using bunch right? Seriously they are up there with rock musicians... Its not a condemnation of who they are it is mearly a fact of the field
The whole premise of Munchies is about watching chefs and restauranteurs having a night on the town, talking about food and culture. What's a night on the town without a brew or two?
Im not saying they shouldnt drink im just saying take it easy with it. It feels like we just watching people go around and drink, and drunk talking about food. Eddie huangs episode is one of the best episodes and it should go that route. IMO
... The show is called munchies which by the way if a flagrant reference to a notorious side affect of being high... No one is injured of affected by the intoxication of anyone on the show, please calm yourself.
black pudding.. ewwww
