We should be able to accept, restrict and decline terms and conditions when utilizing an application. Corporations should be held accountable for all data breaches. Individual privacy is a human necessity and birth right not a choice!!
There are parental controls on cellphones and computers already. Any concerned parents have them set already. Most schools already ban cellphones at school.
I agree with this NY isn’t banning it but instead trying to make it better Florida is just out right banning it for minors as Florida is known for banning stuff

Anyone should be able to set their personal information to be collected or not, regardless of age. Only allow collection with permission, possibly with a paid incentive. Restrict shared data on all devices, then the media companies and advertisers can pay the users for their personal information directly. None of that info should be free.

The penalty should be $15,000 -$25,000. $5000 is only putting money in the governments pocket. Not actually penalizing anyone but the victims.
