I want one of these SO bad! Some day when I'm not poor I will own one. Lol.
albert7139 these arent even expensive....
this video is pretty cool! honestly. you actually get a feel for how the car drives just from the vid. i really like the note of the engine... pretty deep for a 4 banger turbo!
so sad this channel havnt made it yet on TH-cam !! best car tests ever !!
Theres nothing quite like pedal to the metal in 4th gear in this car. The torque is unbelievable =D
Yes there is a V6 version.
you can tell how firm this car's suspension is just by the loud shock absorbing noise, shakes and how it corners
I know this is an old comment but this car was in Sport mode on DCC so that makes it harder. My own CC is much softer
@@dobrien757 I had a 2014 CC for 8 years and the ride was never harsh but the suspension was very brittle on mine. Always was having to replace some sort or suspension parts. Other than that the car was solid up to 100k miles before it got rear-ended and totaled.
@@billlump3792 Sorry to hear it was totaled. Mine was a 2016, but a TDI so different suspension setup!
@@dobrien757 I appreciate the sentiment but it all worked out.....I got a 22 Arteon SEL R-Line as it's replacement lol
@@billlump3792 Nice man, I have a European 2019 Passat R Line Wagon now, what a car!
Well yeah no doubt the technology is amazing. They put it in the fastest car in the world! Hope you keep up on routine maintenance on that DSG ;)
For the US, there is no more expensive -car- in the lineup than a 3.6 Exec 4Motion CC. The Touareg costs more yes, but thats an SUV, and we don't get the Phaeton anymore here. Some decontenting happened on the 2013, such as, it no longer has the Auto-Hold feature for hill and stop/go traffic.
i think the 2013 cc looks WAY better than the 2012. much more refined and streamlined look.
You need to get one of them little foam doodies for the mic on your video cam.
I still like the '12 CC better. For the '13, VW pushed more toward general audience and away from "niche segment". Also, I think the 6-spd manual would have been a better match to this drive. I still love the CC, though.
One of the sexiest cars around O_O
Is there a v6 or maybe a v8 version of this car?
Nothing. I just don't get it how can you have the same steering wheel design in small family sedan car and in top level sedan which can cost up to $40k.
Can you please do a POV of the 2013 passat?
don't crap out and get the 2.0t go for the 3.6 unless your planning on tuning it up
best car
lol so just because they have same steering means they both are same cars ???
I almost fall asleep everytime I drive an automatic too lmao. But yeah MANUAL forever! Iv'e always wanted to try Porsche's 7 speed manual :D
All of Volkswagens car are better in Europe than in America with bigger touchscreens and better looks
Lmao you almost had me fooled
Good drive. but it would have been better in a manual.
Volkswagen needs to get with the program and have the 6 cylinder available in a stick shift!
spoonman73 Audi/VW DSG shifts way better than a manual
there is a v8 version dude, sometimes they just don't sell it in the store, my dad had to pay some extra to deliver it to my country
Yea I'm happy with my Jetta, but when Mk7 Golf GTI is gonna be for sale in USA. I will probably trade her in.
Isn't the 2013 just a facelifted version of the 2012? The interior is almost exactly the same and the exterior is too apart from the lights. On top of this, the Passat CC is not Volkswagen's flagship.
made in Germany?
Well I've never heard of one, Wikipedia has never heard of one, and it would be quite silly for Volkswagen to try and sell a Passat CC with a V8.
Wow!! No torque steer??
I own a '12 CC. And imo, the 2013 lost the concept of the car. It was a niche car. A reasonable Passat, turned into a coupe with less headroom and negated a seat. It was for the guy (like myself) who doesn't need the space, but has it when they need randomly need it. It has the dramatic styling you don't get in the Passat. Now, it carries the flagship title moreso than last year because the new Passat is a bucket of crap and has to become better all round to fill that top spot.
the only thing i hate about the cc are the shocks it's not a smooth ride.
I disagree. As a long time fan of manual transmissions, I took the plunge and bought my first VW with an auto (DSG) last year, and it hasn't shown any problems. At least not yet.
The thing changes gear faster than you can blink
Stephen N Well DSGs are good but dont trear them like a Regular
german sedan without the brand snobbery of a bmw or merc
Well maybe it's only me, but having the same steering wheel in car that sticker price was $24k and the same steering wheel in $36k car is just sad. That's only my own opinion.
when getting on the highway did you put it in a lower gear?
I'm pretty sure that he put it in "sport mode"
*true man......I drive the VW CC 3.6L 4motion & it shares far too many parts with it's lesser brethren, feels like i've paid for a souped-up jetta?! :P
There is no V8 version.
Seat in my GTI are better, more supportive, it matters. this is an Audi A4, ain't it? just priced less cus it's called a VW. But Audi has 211 HP in the 2.ot not JUST 200. Hmmm, does it really, or do they both have the same thing, different chip?
Does it make difference 11 HP? It's the same engine... and Audi A4 is D-segment. Passat CC/ CC/ Arteon are E-segment (its competitors are A6, 5 Series and E-Class)
I thought that the VW Passat CC was a four door, four seat coupe.
Here in the US its the VW CC and now has seating for 5
Anthony Cuda Then how is it different than the standard Passat? I don't really care. I don't really keep up with the VW brand. All I know is the CC, like the Audi A/S7 and the Porsche Pamerama are all copied from the Mercedes-Benz four door coupe Concert the original MB CLS-Class
The passat is not a "coupe"
No kidding. I actually like the new Euro Passat...but the US version is too big with a Jetta interior and terrible engine choices (minus the VR6 of course...but...just...it doesn't compare to the old one)
Hurricane Sandy!!
passat ?
No... CC
TheGonzalezvalle Это у вас просто CC, а у нас Passat CC
Наиль Тухватуллин No Volkswagen took off "PASSAT CC" in 2009 and left it at CC
TheGonzalezvalle in russia it's still passat cc
Just turbo.
I can't believe how horrible the new Passat looks. Previous gen was thousand times better imo.
I love Volkswagens, but I must say that Volkswagen is TERRIBLE at making a dependable automatic. I myself will never drive auto no matter who it's by as well :)
200hp
Turbo
Get a WIND SOCK, ouch!
I can't drive auto, STICK only my GTI 6 speed manual. Auto suck, no control, no feedback, Stick with a clutch, the only way to drive. I think Porsche is up to about 8 speed auto, VW has about 7 now in some, too much, STICK with simple clutch!
