I really enjoy driving my 2014 CC Sport. I does everything I want it to do, with no real issues. One thing I have done is change the interior lighting, puddle lights, back up lights and License plate lights too L.E.D. I have to say, where I live (AZ) it's not uncommon to see temperatures over 105 and can reach 110-115 several times a year. So far, the CC has been flawless and keeps everyone comfortable and cool. The trunk holds a lot of stuff too. I recently purchased from Staples: An all-in-one printer, A office Chair (in box) A glass and metal computer desk (in box) That sucker was heavy! some paper and other office supplies. Me and two big boys from Staples managed to load it all. I think they were surprised it all fit. I was in northern Arizona a few weeks ago and had the chance to drive it on some very twisty roads, it did great. Also, When I drove home, it was dark. You really learn to appreciate the adaptive head lights on those dark winding mountain roads. The DSG Transmission was nice too. I could hold it in a lower gear on some of the switch backs. That equally works well in traffic, I can keep it in 3rd or 4th gear, when I know, we are coming up to a light. You know, all autos try to reach the highest gear possible, as quickly as possible for fuel mileage. The issue is, I know we are stopping in 50' but the car doesn't, so it ramps up to 6th gear, only too downshift back down within a few seconds. I think that over-works the transmission, and keeps the RPMS too low for the turbo. Plus, its fun to shift and is very, very smooth. The mirrors are small for this car. There isn't a glaringly bad blind spot issue, but still I found myself doing the "ole rubberneck" entering a freeway. I ordered a set of European style Mirrors (you can get them from Volkswagen). they are curved just a tad, makes a lot of difference though. Easy to install too. Just pop the old mirror glass out, change the wires (defroster) and press the new one in place. took me 5 minutes. I've been a Honda buyer for years. Good solid cars. But this time, I wanted something different. I'll see how it holds up when I get 100K on it. But my feeling is, as long as I keep it properly maintained, it will do just fine. Its well built.
I just picked one of these up Saturday. Black with limo tint windows. Perfect for my daughter when its hot. I absolutely love this vehicle. Nicest car ive owned. I went from a 2003 Chevy Malibu to this. 2013 VW cc sport plus. Love it
@@dtail4u did you end up buying if yes, could you answer these questions now? 😅 i’m thinking of buying pretty soon and i’d really appreciate your answers
I have been in love with this car since its debut in 2008... I've been a Lexus loyalist for almost 10 years and, VW has my eye with this CC. Great review @saabkyle04
I love my 2013 VW CC Sport Plus. Love driving a car that you don't see on the road too often. Better looking than your typical Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, or the Hyundai. And even though the Car is a Sedan it feels, drives and looks more sportier but at the same time sophisticated.
kyle i will always love your videos because you are one of the very few who don't put annoying music in the background. i dont come here to listen to elevator music. i come here to learn about the car. thank you!
I see they got rid of the Auto-Hold function. I absolutely LOVE that on my 2012 with the 6spd manual. I know how to drive a manual to not roll back on a hill, but its a nice addition. It also automatically sets the parking brake when you take your seatbelt off after you stop so you don't even have to think about it.
Kyle you don't have to succumb to every viewers request. You were pretty adamant in why you don't post up the prices of cars and people should understand and respect that. They can search online, you did 99% of the job for them ;) Great review as always.
I just love VW period. The CC, Jetta, and Beetle are my favs. I'm dying for a Beetle TDI, I would love to drive that sucker! This one to!! They just so fine looking!!! :D
Before I clicked the "show the comment" button I thought your comment meant you were going to REVIEW new cars only. You had me scared for a minute there!! Thanks for doing that though I've requested that several times along with others :) If you ever want to tell prices of used cars KBB has an app (I'm assuming you have a smartphone but if not it only takes a sec on computer too) anyway I will as always continue to watch every video that comes out :)
Purchased one about four months ago, and so far its great. Pretty strong for a four cylinder and and the interior seems pretty durable, and while it wont be as nice as an audi, for the price point, it has a well built interior.
And I really want to point out the fact the wipers are rain sensing, not just intermittent. In fact, thats what the intermittent setting is which can be slightly frustrating at times.
Just got a gently used 2010. Yeah that engine is noisy outside, but inside, it's silent as a church. Damn smooth ride. Love it. Just hope it won't break down. I've heard bad stuff about repair and costs
thank GOD you got the '10 man. mine is a 2011, and it's broken down more times than I can count. the fucking engine blew the DAY I got mine... you still liking yours??

True, and that I totally agree with your opinion. The thing I hated the most from the old front was the long yellow light accent on the bumper, which really made the car look stupid to me. But since now they got rid of those, and put LED accents and fog lamps on the new ones, they look great!
This car is not meant to go up against an Audi, BMW, or Merc. in any way so I don't understand why people are comparing. VW owns Audi and so Audi is the luxury branch of VW...soooo yea. anyway my father just purchased the VR6 4Motion Executive CC and its pretty damn nice and got some awesome pick up.
We dont have either in the US. I bought a focus with a blown engine block, I bought a parts car and used that engine, but it gave me alot of problems too. Haha I drive an 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora( youve probobly never heard of it) with a 4L Northstar V8. I love it, and gave me no problems so far, and it has amazing build quality. GM really tried on that car.
VW's DSG box is their automatic box - they put it in pretty much everything. Of course it's not a sports car but the V6 FSI Passat is surprising quick.
Hey Kyle, I know you get several requests and I understand your limitations of the vehicles you can do an in depth tour on. But if you ever come across a VW Passat with a the W8 engine, please do a tour of it.
I have to build the sunroofs for these things. I dunno about the rest of the car, but the quality standards for that sunroof is no fucking joke. Definitely on par with Mercedes in that area.
This will definitely be my first car. I only have one suggestion for Volkswagen ; put wood interior instead of silver interior. But other than that, I like everything else about the cc. (:
The CC is the best looking Volkswagen of the moment (in my opinion).
It isn't an opinion it's a fact

It's 2021 and IMO the CC It's still on par with some other models like the golf R and the top trim GTI's
