I have a beautiful 2010 A4 Premium Plus and I want to say that it never gets old. I love watching audi reviews, and I think you did a great job. As an Audi owner... i would recommend this to anyone in the market.
Hey Jonathan... I am looking to buy this car sometime soon. But, online forums messing with my mind about how the car starts to break down after 25-20k miles. Have you had to spend a lot on maintenance?
This the reason i want purchase A4 because of just how sleek and smooth this guy presentation and run-through, also to challenge myself to be a car salesman
Well I own one and I think it’s a great car, but yea there are a few small things I’d change. The first being that there is no dipstick “over engineering” at its finest.
Fantastic review - Thank You Just had my 2013 A4 Quattro 3.0 V6, for a couple of weeks and I'm still, pleasantly finding new stuff about it, all the time! Your Vid has also enlightened me to even more Once again -Thanks!
first decent car review i've seen that hasn't been a uk top gear episode. if this guy wasn't biased to sell and talked about the negatives he would be great at doing reviews.
I've seen one in person, inside and out. Audis, I think, are the most gorgeous and most executive-looking cars I seen (externally). Inside looks plain and lacks tech. According to Consumer Reports, models 2011 and above won't give you problems.
I have owned hondas for years but for my next I wanted to make the switch to German. I loved how my cousins A4 quattro handled turns so this is hopefully my next car!
I have a 2008 audi a4. When I drive in normal mode (not sports or tiptronic), the gear doesn't shift until i drive up to about100kmph+. Is this normal?
@JakeMcCrary, you can get paddles with the Sport Package - optional on Premium Plus and Prestige models that have the automatic (tiptronic) transmission.
Hi, I have a question, is the audi a4 2013 just as good as this 2014 version just without the halogen lights and the steering wheel has leather? I just need to know I got one used for 23k with premium. 32k miles.
I much prefer the drivetrain on my old 2014 Audi to the watered down 2018 (B9) generation. The ZF8 was rated for 500hp, so the B8.5 tranny was tuned to put down a lot of torque in normal driving.
I never realized how superior mercedes bemz is to literally every car when it comes to luxury. Wow what a difference in everything especially materials. I can tell the wheel really does turn very smoothly in this car though
Great video. Just went to the Audi dealer and test drove the A4 and thats all it took. My car will be ready in 3 months. By the way, who is the artist of the music on your vid?
Hi, does the model with s-line as shown here come standard with a sports suspension? Cause it seems pretty high, and i'm hesitating between the standard and the sports as i like the lowered look. Can you tell me what the gap distance between the wheel arch and the tyre for a standard suspension is, as opposed to that of a sports suspension? Thanks
Nico Meeus The Premium Plus and Prestige trim levels have it as an option (Sport Package). With the $1,000 Sport Package, you get a 3-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters (auto only), Audi drive select controls, Front sport seats with 4-way power lumbar, and the Sport suspension. The sport suspension lowers the ride height by -20mm.
The big question is does the 2014 model drive straight with the steering wheel straight?! My 2013 A4 3.0 TDI Quattro didn't - Audi called it a 'feature'...
innercry - if you were on a ground so flat and smooth that a marble wouldn't roll, the steering wheel should be straight and your A4 would drive in a straight line forever. In the real world though, our roads are angled on purpose. It's called "crowning" - the center of the road is slightly higher than the right or left side of the road so that when it rains the water rolls off the asphalt instead of pooling up (which can cause hydroplaning and chaos). The side effect that we drivers get is that our cars want to veer slightly away from the center of the road. It's hard to gauge to what degree your roads are crowned, but there is a bit of leeway built into the alignment tolerances that a technician must follow when aligning your Audi. It's a judgement call - but at the end of the day if you feel you're driving more or less straight and your steering wheel is cocked to one side while you drive that's not right. You want the wheel right-side-up and the car going in a straight line (maybe veering a touch away from center). Hope this helps!
Hi.With the car on a flat piece of road, no camber, tyre pressures all correct the car needs the steering wheel to be off center by quite a margin for the car to steer straight. In fact it has been proven bu Audi that with the suspension alignment perfectly within tolerance the car will steer to the left with the steering wheel straight or move the steering wheel one spline to the left on the steering column and the car steers to the right with the steering wheel straight! Looking at the car it is fairly obvious there is an mis-alignment between the chassis and the subframe therefore it appears to be a manufacturing flaw and the output of this is the steering wheel being off center. The car also has many trim rattles and suffers quite bad wind noise. I was told by Audi that this was because the A4 Black Edition car is not a very refined car! Talk about scrambling for excuses. The car is fundamentally flawed. Unfortunately it has been a painful ownershipe experience since taking delivery of the car from new. The Audi dealership have not being willing to recognise there is any problem with the car which I raised within 5 weeks of receiving the car and it has taken another dealership to at least acknowledge there is an issue over a year later! However, now the explanations from Audi are on 'wear and tear' which is frankly ludicrous! The Audi ownership experience is not one I can recommend.Hence why I called it a feature as it seems I'm either stuck with a car that doesn't drive straight or I suffer a huge financial loss and sell the car. I would also like to add that I have driven many A4s previously with no issues and a 2013 A6 3.0 TDI Quattro which had no steering issues that mine demonstrates. As a side note I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering so I'm quite familiar with physics and forces etc so have a good understanding of how a car will behave on cambered roads, particualrly with wide section tyres, but having compared my A4 with others on the same roads it doesn't require this level of education to understand the differences and therefore the problem that mine exhibits. Unfortunately Audi have been unwilling to listen...
OfficialAudiMV: As a brand specialist, would you know when the 2016 Audi A4 will be in the USA? Audi did not preview it during the Geneva Motor Show in March of 2015 the only other large European show is in September the Frankfurt which Audi announced they would display the Audi A4 2016. However like mentioned that is owards the end of the Year. I know it was to be on sale on 2014 but was delayed a year which would mean it should be in the USA somewhere in June or July.
With either the 2014 or 2015, you are getting a well engineered vehicle. Get the Quattro and at this point, get the best between the two for your money.
I drive 328i but the a4 is far more comfy on the inside, and much sexier on the outside. But 328i has around 20hp more than the a4, along with torque specs. But its a little sacrifice for the luxury you get.
Great review. Clear, concise, to the point. Many online car videos are extremely long, boring, and they spend so much time on meaningless things. But this review made me want to buy an Audi. Lol.
I own an Audi A4. The car is feels awesome to drive, its really smooth and has a great pick up. I wish it had better interiors though. BTW the review is too good, love the background music. I have watched it several times.
Big fan of the Audi a4 not so much of the newer ones but the 2003 -2008 I don't like the new look. Love the headlights. I may buy my first Audi a4 2003 soon hope to move up until I get this onee.
zigga, I so rarely see a manual come on our lot :( Most Southern California drivers are commuting all the time (Orange County is so spread out) and we stock automatics, typically ordering manuals for our select enthusiast clients. I have driven the manual before and the only commentary I have is that they are buttery-smooth, but the throw is a little long for my taste; I like a shorter-shift for quicker action. However, the automatic dual-clutch system (like goes in the S4) is unbelievably fast and there's no way you could beat it with a manual - it's definitely worth a drive.
The Audi A4 does not have a traditional Quattro system, it uses a Haldex-Clutch which is a non-permanent awd-system which is basically a fwd that activates awd when there is a loss of traction. Don't let Audi fool you ;)
Marcel, keen observation - the Haldex system has been used in Audis for the previous generation TT and A3s and has proven its worth when a smaller engine bay and a transverse layout is required. Although it is not the longitudinal "Torsen" or "Crown-Gear" systems found on the latest models, the Haldex system is no slouch when it comes to traction demand. That being said, it is a great reason to upgrade to the Audi A6, which shares the same 2.0T motor as the A4 and does use a longitudinal layout. The A6 has a starting price that is still competitive with the A4; check out our A6 video here: 2014 Audi A6 Review
I own a 2013 A4 premium plus with sports pack and nav, the car is really nice but the design and feel especially on the interior is getting outdated compared to its rivals (BMW 3 and Mercedes C-Class). The fuel economy is not bad and a couple years ago i imagine this was top notched, however currently BMW 3 and new C-Class has surpassed Audi with fuel economy and power. For those reasons the A4 in its present form should be a great bargain, still a pretty classy ride and fun to drive.
Charleston, great observations - yes, the A4 (Audi calls it the "B Segment" - we're currently on the B8) is in what is undoubtedly the hottest and most contested segment of the market. You can see that the A4 and its competitors turn over their designs and technology faster than any other model, simply because of the volume! It usually takes 4-6 years to redevelop and update a model line and I know that Audi has a product vision that spans well past 2020. In fact, the auto blogs out there are already buzzing about the B9 Audi A4 having been spied. I can't say what Model Year it will go into production, but I woulnd't be surprised if the Audi engineers didn't have some MPG tricks up their sleeves :)
You don’t have to give a key while servicing There’s a special service key for every B8/B8.5 A4 which is copy-protected so nobody can copy your key then steal your car
Probably one of the best car reviews I have ever watched. This guy is thorough, seems honest and sincere. Knows his stuff.
I mean... it's an official audi channel.
I have a beautiful 2010 A4 Premium Plus and I want to say that it never gets old. I love watching audi reviews, and I think you did a great job. As an Audi owner... i would recommend this to anyone in the market.

Dealer reviewing the car he sells without any negative comments. Seems legit.
+Admiral Ackbar Ha ha, no Shitte. I was about to post a similar comment until I read yours which says it all.
+Admiral Ackbar exactly why i gave a thumbs down
Well I own one and I think it’s a great car, but yea there are a few small things I’d change. The first being that there is no dipstick “over engineering” at its finest.
I also wish mine had the S4 style steering wheel
Fantastic review - Thank You

Your Vid has also enlightened me to even more
Once again -Thanks!
i am 2 minutes in and if this guy says slick one more time....
I was having a bad adjective day :)
at least you stopped after the first few minutes hahaha
I still watch this here and there. Always wanted this car.
Thanks for the video, I just bought that same car today.
I think your review is great! I watched it 3 times.
Wow, thanks! That's a great compliment :)
I love my b8, I also have a b5 I've had for 7 years. Extraordinary cars.
Ooh, I love the B5. I had a '97 :)
I have a 2000 B5 and I just bought a 2014 B8 my two favorite cars
Top class sedan with beauty ergonomics !! Watched many times, but still feel like watching it one more time. Thanx for d review.
You're welcome!
first decent car review i've seen that hasn't been a uk top gear episode. if this guy wasn't biased to sell and talked about the negatives he would be great at doing reviews.
Thanks Pat, comparing our review to TopGear is a huge compliment!
the sexiest car ever
I've seen one in person, inside and out. Audis, I think, are the most gorgeous and most executive-looking cars I seen (externally). Inside looks plain and lacks tech. According to Consumer Reports, models 2011 and above won't give you problems.
Thank you. Really appreciate the driving and comments.
them side burns though
For some reason i love that kind of steering wheel
I have owned hondas for years but for my next I wanted to make the switch to German. I loved how my cousins A4 quattro handled turns so this is hopefully my next car!
Cool sideburns man.
Saving up currently for one of these, cant wait till I get one!
just got mine today. great car
I have a 2008 audi a4. When I drive in normal mode (not sports or tiptronic), the gear doesn't shift until i drive up to about100kmph+. Is this normal?
I heard 2011 and up, is better. You'll have less problems.
Great video, Audi's truly are amazing. Worth every penny.
@JakeMcCrary, you can get paddles with the Sport Package - optional on Premium Plus and Prestige models that have the automatic (tiptronic) transmission.
OfficialAudiMV please reply
Excellent video and give us the message you need to know about Audi a4
I have a 2012 Honda civic 1.4 se MK9, I’m thinking of changing for a 2014 Audi A4 TFSI 1.8, should I or not.
This video just motivated me more to buy the Audi A4 S line!
Is the navigation and stereo system touch screen too, along with the dial thing, or is there only the dial?
What is going on with your side burn Elvis?
Just bought one. It had 100k on it. And it was mint. I love it. Its the dark blue with the chocolate leather
How come it's a S-Line version with SE steering wheel ?
Hi, I have a question, is the audi a4 2013 just as good as this 2014 version just without the halogen lights and the steering wheel has leather? I just need to know I got one used for 23k with premium. 32k miles.

Benzos are crap
I have to disagree. I own an A4 and it is quicker and more responsive while having the same interior quality as my friends E350(a class higher).
OfficialAudiMV hahahhahaha slay
I guess you have never seen a jaguar, bentley or a rolls royce.
Great review! Informative and helpful to any prospective buyer or enthusiast. You reviewed this vehicle like an audi driver, modest.
Thanks! My family is full of Audi owners; I've had three in a row - my sister two, my Dad two... once they're under your skin it's hard to switch!
Will their be a new generation of the audi a4 like in the a3?
That's a slick car! Just like those sideburns!
Thank you very much , now i know what car i should buy next 4 years.
Great video. Just went to the Audi dealer and test drove the A4 and thats all it took. My car will be ready in 3 months. By the way, who is the artist of the music on your vid?
It's actually music produced by Audi AG in Germany.
For you what is the best, an e91 bmw 320 touring or an audi a4? I need to decide what to buy, please give me your professional advice
Since it's 2018 how much will that be if i plan on buying it?

Awesome production - very well produced and presented.
Thank You - lots of research, lots of editing! Our blooper reel is probably three or four days long by now.
you're doing a great job !! must be a pleasant experience buying a car from you....
Is this car 4 wheel drive or only front wheel
Tiny LCD screen for a luxury car. Are there bigger sizes offered for the a4?
YEAH DUDE ,just bring you re TV in it it will sure be bigger..after all that s all cars are about
I have a '97 audi a4 and it handles pretty nice. Old though, but a great car
Edward - I had one myself; I loved it.

Nice video thanks.
Though more external shots would be nice.

Do u think that this car has a fair price and do u thinks its affordable in ur opinion
I have a 2013 Audi A4 and absolutely love it! However, I think my next purchase will be the A7.
Dwight Cosby I want to get the Audi A4 2015 for my first car. Is that fine? Also get the 2014 or 2015? The 2014 kinda looks better.

I really wish audi improves the tail lights design and detailing, something like the new a8.
Previous a4 had lovely tail lights
What about wood inserts?
Great job. Picking up mine tomorrow.
Where can i buy those Angel eyes ? Like in the video
Twins, the cars we used were factory-equipped; no aftermarket parts installed!
Good review... Very detailed :)
Awesome video, I was torn between this or a 328i....I think I know what my choice is now :)

BavarianMWfan Thank's for the added thoughts! I do love the 328i, my cousin's 2013 is a fantastic car that definitely hauls when you hit the gas.

Please do a review for the 2014 Audi S5 manual!
Noted! We're working our way through the most popular models; we're getting there... :)
(I mean most popular by sales volume, not by awesomeness. Otherwise, our playlist would be COMPLETELY different)
Wow an amazing car! I've been looking at the 3 series but the A4 is just beautiful... How much would it be monthly with 0 due at signing? Thanks.
How is the manual? Is it smooth as the 2013?

Most Southern California drivers are commuting all the time (Orange County is so spread out) and we stock automatics, typically ordering manuals for our select enthusiast clients. do you have any stasis vehicles like the stasis s4
We currently do not carry any Stasis products.
Nice review
Thanks!
Nicely done!
Great review.
Great review...
pleeeeees what is the name of the last song
We used two songs that were both created by Audi. They are called "Warteschleife" (which roughly means "holding pattern" or "waiting loop").
nice review! nice car 2!
What's the name of the song at the ending anyone ?

the A4 has a traditional permanent torsen 4wd. Im surprised AudiMV did not correct you on this.

Have you seen this Audi...

The MMI Telefon Menu is flickering arround.
Spaceman, not sure what you mean - in our video? Or is your MMI screen having a problem?
I love that A4 :)
I'd love to have the 8-speed tiptronic... but in Germany we only get the 7-speed S tronic. :-|
You don’t have to give a key while servicing
There’s a special service key for every B8/B8.5 A4 which is copy-protected so nobody can copy your key then steal your car
I was far more critical in my video review on the 2015 A4 P+, now that the Mercedes C300 is available.
Those sideburns tho😂😂😂
