The only thing that tarnished Luca Toni’s legacy for me is the fact that he just couldn’t stay at one club for very long, fantastic striker no doubt but I’d of loved to have seen him say settle in Bayern for years and really make a massive impact on their history. Similar to players like Anelka who just never settled at one club for long. (Disclaimer: Toni > Anelka)

I love his gangly cumbersome technique, it makes him so hard to anticipate, him and Klose were absolute titans. With more and more players performing at the highest level well into their 30's I can eventually see the average lifespan of the footballer (at the elite level) extending beyond 30-32 and into 35/36 so we get to enjoy more players like Toni, Maldini, Totti, Klose etc
