I recorded this video during Soke Inoue's seminar held in Caorle (Venice, Italy) on 18-20 October 2013. The seminar was organized by Sensei Francesco Favaron, founder of Inoue-Ha Shito-Ryu Italy:

The best thing about this teacher is how much he likes karate, teaching karate, and his students. He exudes kindness and happiness. Awesome.
Thank you for posting! I really enjoy watching Mr. Yoshimi! As well as what I can extract from what he says. He has this quality of teaching and not showing off, other than demonstrating, which is impressive.
One of the greatest Sensei . Wish we had him with us
what an extraordinary opportunity to learn.
Rarely karate masters smilie like yoshimi sensei…. I’m very lucky to see him at least in the videos. Still I’m not able to believe he is no more 🥲
Many, many thanks for posting. Such a wonderful karate Sensei. His words of wisdom made a light globe light-up in my head. I've now got to make sure I remember to practice it over & over at the dojo.
You are welcome Bill Blinky, thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing your video with us
Probably, in my humble opinion, it is not only timing alone but about cross-coordination of front leg sending forward the left leg and the left hand arriving on time. Paul,68, everlasting respect to late Master Yoshimi. If mistaken, I am ready to discuss. Paul, 68, retired instructor of Karate,
Excellent video!! I learnt so much.
Thank you
Dear J. Tiger (I don't know why, but TH-cam doesn't allow me to reply directly to your comment), I have the entire seminar recorded and ready to be shared on my channel. Soke Inoue showed us Annan, Suparimpei (both of them Shitoryu version) and Chatanyara Kushanku and their respective bunkai. Unfortunately, looks like someone around the world doesn't want this knowledge to be shared. I'm working on solving this issue... stay tuned.
You needtomout + then his exact youtube name otherwise he wont reseive the message unless he happens to stumble across the comment
+Alessandro Timmi have you please, succeded to upload the full seminar? I would love to access and download it for current use. Besides, if by any chance you have other teachings by sensei Inoue Yoshimi, be kind to let us know. I am particularly looking for his teaching of the pinans, by now. Any other kata would be welcome as well. Thanks
+Wawa Kirki II not yet... I have the videos, the problem is finding the time to edit and upload them. I'll do my best during these Christmas holidays ;)
I cross fingers that you get more time; positively. :)
G'day Alessandro, thx for posting such awesome content of Soke Inoue Yoshimi - the karate world lost a real gem! Is there a possibility you could make available any of his full seminars? domo arigato :-)
GRANDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just realized after all this long these videos have been around on TH-cam, how many more views do Inoue Sensei's kata vídeos have rather than the ones on BASICS.
I've been in Inoue-ha Shitō-Ryū Keishin-Kai for 12 years now, since Sōke came to Brazil to establish our organization in Brazil. All his and our accomplishments in competitions around the globe is purely and simply due to the respect for the BASICS, but deep basics. Understanding thoroughly how the brain and muscles function in order to achieve excellence at every single movement.
Few want to go through this resetting of their karate.
Newcomers, high-level instructors, everyone can benefit from this.
Pay attention to the details!
You'll ALWAYS learn something new every time you watch Inoue Sensei move.
I promise!

There are also some techniques of Soke regarding the two hand techniques that are very revelatory. They are very similar to wing chun concepts. Actually that hand that is in front of the blocking hand has a deep meaning.
Good comment Sensei Ricardo, I agree, basics are fundamental and his way of teaching them was very practical and clear.
Respect from a Greek karateka 🙏OSS
hope you also conduct seminar here in cebu . sensei
Great.

Why we can't have the totality of the seminar?
Hey, Alessandro!
Did you also make videos of his "bunkai/technique-explanations" (demonstrations with a partner) which he showed in Caorle?
If you have some more, would it be possible that you upload them?
Thank you very much for your previous videos!
Hi, I am finally uploading them. The majority are already online and the remaining two will be posted within a couple of weeks.
Plz upload the videos in English

Nice! It would be useful to add, in the appropriate section, a link to this playlist

Seeing him move, if it was old Okinawa where he was working the fields or transporting things to market, hoodlums would be in a bad situation to jump him would they not?
