chuy marin . the 2018+ Gt’s really don’t need a intake manifold. the 18 ported is just as good as any other intake mani
@@Cyxx__ yes and no. They're definitely an improvement over the 15 manifolds and they're just as good as the gt350 ones. But if you ask someone like Lund, they'll still say the cobra jet is the one to have. Even for the 18's.
Stephen Van Dorst . i agree the CJ is way better than the ported 18 mani. but so many people on youtube have dyno’d a ported 18 and ported CJ and have the same numbers. AM did a video about that as well. but i still think the CJ is better but like i said

Stephen Van Dorst the 18 mani is way cheaper to. if you’re talking dollar for dollar and on a budget the ported 18 mani is better
i just got my 2019 camaro 2ss with the 10 speed automatic, have to say i absolutely love her

No surprise, as soon as i saw they were both manuals it was game over, the only setup that the mustang is fast is the with the auto.
I knew it was going to be a big difference when i heard the mods on the camaro them LT engines are pretty powerful throw in some mods and it gets Nasty .... great video you win some you lose some its part of the game
He’s far more modded but you held your own, I’m contemplating on the manual to the 10 speed.

mmanzanozr1 long tubes and intake manifold are a big difference. CJ manifold and longtubes that coyote would wax him.
@@manten88 I thought he had an intake manifold to, maybe just a throttle body yeah that's about 30hp and he jumped on him quite so I'm sure that with the same mods the Stang would be right next to him, nowhere near waxing anything
I've got a 10r80 and I love it. Just depends on how you drive and what you'll use it for

Favorite part about this video is it shows you are a true gearhead, win or lose you show love to the other guy and that shit speaks volumes. If more guys were like this in the car world we would all have even more fun.

Camaros have us in looks but nothing compares to the sound of a coyote but that LT1 sounds clean

The headers and the intake manifold are a huuuge help!! But you can definitely see the Mustang has the top end. Hats off to the 5.0 vs the 6.2

That TR-6060 with no-lift shift is the one to have, it sounds amazing. Both badass cars, really enjoyed the video.
He has the advantage with the intake manifold and the headers but you still kept up with him I was impressed

i like that the mustang has a consistent power delivery more than the Camaro you can see after many runs the mustang started to catch up with the Camaro and even pass it.

It’s crazy how at 6:53 you were creeping up on him despite the lead he had. 3rd Gen Coyotes have crazy top end. If you had long tube headers and throttle body with an updated tune you’d be right there next to him and the your top end would take over.
I'm a camaro guy, but at one point in this video, I was staring at that digital dash not even paying attention to the race hhaha. The graphics and colors are sick af.

Good race it was close considering everything. I think some of the other people here are magically forgetting all you have is an intake and tune with e85 versus a guy with full bolt ons and a e85 flex tune...
People hating on the MT-82 but at least you stand out in a crowd of automatics, anyone can "drive" those "fast", but when you look at half these kids driving manual mustangs they can't shift anyway so I don't blame them for going automatic lol.

That camaro was moving no cap. Shifting was crazy sounded like an auto
Rush Shift kind of the reson why I got rid of my mustang and bought a used Zl1 Camaro 5th gen
No substitute for cubes, the power to weight on the Camaro gives it an advantage straight up, the 5.0 is one impressive unit though its down practically a Suzuki hayabusa engine in cc's but still hangs in there. Love watching your videos really cool roll races!

Nice video. My guess is the Camaro driver might have been in too high of a gear at 60MPH, but he is waaaaaay more skilled than that other Mexican dude you took on previously. That said, you held your own. Respect to both drivers and cars.

Awesome runs man! They’re such an even match..if you had long tubes on your car that would be a dead even race. Not sure how much a manifold mod would do since you’re 2018+...but a good port couldn’t hurt.

But I’m talking the transmission gearing itself, it’s not as aggressive as past MT82

Just think Chevy does that with one 1 CAM against Fords 4 CAMS set up! I have a 10 Shelby GT500 but was a LS guy prior, still Love how Chevy is still only using the single cam pushrod set up!

Good races, manual transmission is for true gearhead's, the feeling of smashing the gear in perfectly, the envolvement of actually driving the car.

mmanzanozr1 like understanding weight distribution? Braking distance, and keeping the wheel straight when braking? Knowing in a split second if you’re having understeer or oversteer and correcting. There’s more but you understand. Once you understand what driving is, youll realize that choosing a gear is like 15 percent of driving well.

The thing is with Camaro’s they are horrible with boost but no matter what they still look mean and I love it. Also I love that wrap on your 5.0 I’m think about doing a black satin wrap on mine.

The gearing on the gen 3 manual I hear nullify all the engine “improvements” over the gen 2’s so that the gen3 manuals are as fast as the gen 2 manuals.

Just to put it out there the 2018 + exhaust manifolds flow better then most aftermarket headers 🤷🏽♂️
It’s the outcome I expected just cuz intake and headers plus bigger cubic inches. If you guys had same mods it would of been close. Crazy how the 5.0 rev so high that’s a benefit 🤙🏽
