I live in Texas and Kent Rollins you are a true Texan and I don't even know if you live in Texas.. Your videos and channel are a breath of fresh air sir
I love corn dogs. They're my favorite "fruit." :) We made this recipe about 2 weeks ago and they came out really good. Better than that frozen junk. We planned and had leftovers. We wrapped each corn dog in plastic wrap, then in foil, and put them in the freezer. The next week, we pulled out a couple for lunch. Threw them in the oven for a few minutes and they tasted even better.
When I'm feeling down, depressed and alone, all I do is watch one of Kent's cooking videos and my spirit is lifted up a bit. Cowboy you are a beacon of hope to many who, like me, sometimes just need to hear a friendly voice. Your love for America is heart warming. Take care and God Bless you.
This is a great comment and I agree! Kent you remind me a bit of going to Eastern Washington cowboy country where I always felt like life was the way it is meant to be - down to earth and right there surrounded by kind hearted people and living nature. And it is odd to me how such a warm hearted comment like this one gets only 2 likes in 5 months while others get hundreds of thousands of likes... Unfair and unfeeling world too often. Anyway thank you for your kindness!
Never heard of this guy. All of a sudden his videos started being "suggested" by YT. I finally clicked on this one. What a great video. So honest and fun loving. :) This man is truly a light in a dark world! And the corndogs look AMAZING!
Parenting is the job in the world that requires so much more patience and compassion than most of us are raised to have in the first place, but it's certainly easier than it used to be in your grandma's time now that you can find child psychology textbooks online... I know my grandparents sure could've used a "recipe" for raising kids!
Man, I don't Know how Kent Rollins keeps from gaining 100lbs from all the fantastic recipes he shares or how he just happens to pick all of my favorites, or how he and his supporting cast makes me smile while watching each episode, but the man is magic! Whole lotta magic! thank you, sir!
Doesn't look to me like he ever prepares more than a full day's meal in a video. So long as he does less than one video per day, he's _fine._ I doubt he prepares any one of these recipes very often!
I made these corn dogs today for my family and in laws. They were phenomenal and received rave reviews. I made 2 batches, one as written and 1 without onions and jalapeños. It made way more corn dogs than the website says it'll yield, which is just fine with me. I ran out of hot dogs eventually and made hush puppies out of the remaining batter, which are also delish. My only substitutions were that I used dandelion syrup instead of honey and Tony's Creole seasoning instead of the spice mix suggested. 10/10 will make again. I could see myself making large batches and freezing as well.
Thank you more than I can say for this recipe. The surprise of your corndogs was perfect. She was humming while she ate. Praise enough for Mom. Be blessed. I was because of you.

Yup...and much healthier too. Hotdogs aren't made with chosen meat pieces like those, but with overly-processed leftover meat and undesirable scraps that would otherwise be thrown away! I still like them, but they are literally made from converted trash meat.
I've been watching a lot of different food and recipie channels but I think I might've found my favorite for sure. I might try some recipes out when I get a little more free.
I enjoyed my time with Kent at his chuck wagon cooking school (2003 or 4)and still get his humor now here. Love a cook that has such pleasure in cooking corn dogs to biscuits and gravy to prime rib. Kent got you all covered. Thanks for all you do.

@@craigjasman9436 you probably would have to wrap the hotdogs in bacon deep fry them batter them and deep fry because if you wrap them in bacon and then batter them and deep fry the bacon might not be crispy
@@craigjasman9436 soggy, undercooked bacon under the cornmeal cover would be not so yum. Maybe crispy bacon, broken into bits and mixed into the batter would work. I like the way you think, though. 😁

Thank you for a wonderful videos you do. You covered a whole circle of food. I like how you honor God, and the veterans also.

@@CowboyKentRollinsYou got a very pretty property too from what I saw of the background of your onion rings video and sweet natured dogs . With what you said about the corndog batter , You've given me an idea for a vegan version of this recipe . God bless you , your home and your exstended family . ♑✍️🇳🇴🇦🇺
the TH-cam recommendations have blessed me with a great cooking video
Glad you like it and Thanks for watching
Always love your videos! Cooking has become therapeutic for me. Thanks for honoring those who serve the country and please keep on posting!
Thank you! Will do!
A fun tip to change it up: Instead of using hotdogs, use bratwarst or even Italian sausage. They are crazy good!
Yup...and much healthier too. Hotdogs aren't made with chosen meat pieces like those, but with overly-processed leftover meat and undesirable scraps that would otherwise be thrown away! I still like them, but they are literally made from converted trash meat.
you would have to make sure they are cooked first, hot dogs don't need to be cooked.
The best findings in 2021, greetings from Mexico!!!
Thanks Abraham for watching
I've been watching a lot of different food and recipie channels but I think I might've found my favorite for sure. I might try some recipes out when I get a little more free.
Love how Duke sets up at the end to take a shot at a whole corn dog 🐶
Duke and Beag, enjoy your day off!
Boy those puppy's look good Kent! 😋
I enjoyed my time with Kent at his chuck wagon cooking school (2003 or 4)and still get his humor now here.
Love a cook that has such pleasure in cooking corn dogs to biscuits and gravy to prime rib. Kent got you all covered. Thanks for all you do.
I love corn dogs like I like corny dad jokes!
They really make me smile *from ear to ear!*
Another one of your corny jokes. I love it. Hope you have a Happy New Year!
@@dwaynewladyka577 Thanks, you too!
Thanks for watching
"Good dogs and corn dogs, that's what life is about right there."
Amen to that!
Watching you at the queue in a little market in Adrogue City, Argentina, South America. Nobody as a good cowboy cook for watching while waiting for pay. Greetings.
This was my first time doing and trying corn dogs, they're delicious! Thank you for sharing the recipe 😊
Glad you enjoyed
You said "baking powder"and I heard "bacon powder," and my ears perked right up! Lol.
Also, I am praying for the Beag. I have a pupper of my own, and I know how dear they are. 🙏🏻
Thanks Dawn he is getting better
@@CowboyKentRollins Yay! Glad he's getting better... We love you Beag! 🐾
What if you wrapped the dog in bacon before the batter dip......mmmmmmm
@@craigjasman9436 you probably would have to wrap the hotdogs in bacon deep fry them batter them and deep fry because if you wrap them in bacon and then batter them and deep fry the bacon might not be crispy
@@craigjasman9436 soggy, undercooked bacon under the cornmeal cover would be not so yum. Maybe crispy bacon, broken into bits and mixed into the batter would work. I like the way you think, though. 😁
My daughter is visiting this weekend. I'm making 2 of her faves ala Kent Rollins style. Corndogs and steak fingers. She's a much better cook than I am but I'm pretty sure I'll impress her with these. Be blessed. Thank you for your passion for Cowboy Cooking and most of all for sharing. Reactions to be posted Iater.
Hope yall enjoy
I love Shan’s laugh lol. Looks yummy as always Kent. And watch you don’t throw something out shaking like that 🤷♂️🤷♂️😂😂
Thanks Melvin for watching
Hey guys I was down In Kansas At the state fair awhile back And they have fried green tomatoes Then they served with Either ranch Dressing More I'm not sure if it was a Tabasco sauce or Buffalo sauce And it was so good I just don't i'd bring it up since you're on the whole carnival food If you haven't done something like that on your channel yet it might make for an interesting video
When I want to learn to cook a great country dish, I watch Cowboy Kent Rollins or Justin Wilson. "I guaronteee".
Spanish Flea during the test pattern. Brings back memories of, "The Dating Game".
I’m ready to make some of these and hit the corn dog trail!! Happy new year 🎊
Hi happy new year ❤️
