Why Beta Male Behaviors Are Hard For Men To Break

  • Why beta male behaviors are hard for men to break and they often revert back to acting weak and overly emotional.
    In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email update from a former coaching client of mine who needed help after a breakup last year. He was acting too soft and weak and got dumped. He read 3% Man, 12 times and started doing really well with other women. Then his ex came back into the picture and he slowly dropped the other women to focus on her again. He can tell that despite the fact she does all of the calling, texting and pursuing, she’s not deeply passionately in love with him and it’s more of a casual friends with benefits type of relationship with no strings attached for her. He wants to know what he can do to make her really desire and want him. He’s obviously reverted back to his old beta male ways without realizing it and is seeking her attention, validation and approval. He’s also communicating that he can’t emotionally handle being with her again which is disgusting and a huge turnoff for her.
    If you have not read my book, “How To Be A 3% Man” yet, that would be a good starting place for you. It is available in Kindle, iBook, Paperback, Hardcover or Audio Book format. If you don't have a Kindle device, you can download a free eReader app from Amazon so you can read my book on any laptop, desktop, smartphone or tablet device. My sister dated a guy who was "in touch with his feelings". She gushed about how attractive and romantic she thought this was. I laughed and told her that I'd give it 3 months before she would feel the exact opposite.
    3 months exactly! It went from attractive to "he treats me like I'm his mommy" and I jokingly responded "who would've thought" lol.... they're no longer together
    Our father wasn't a strong male figure in our lives growing up. Though I love him, he presented an example of beta Male behaviors and would run/ignore his problems instead of dealing with them head on. Fortunately, I decided earlier in life that I wanted to break that cycle and stumbled upon Corey's work soon after.

      My father was a beta bitch too. Studied medicine but didn’t practice and gave up on his life’s dream/family because the entrance exam to practice in the UK was “too hard”. I’m sure if he stuck with it he’d be practicing by now. Instead what is he doing now? Sleeping on strange women’s sofas and getting kicked out all the time. I found the red pill/self improvement space pretty late at about 25 and now I’m 30. So the beta male programming and my Dad’s piss poor example have been baked in pretty hard. I’m doing everything I can to fight back against The Matrix programming but at times it feels like life is kicking my ass. Still I will play with the hand I’ve been dealt till my final breath. I wish every man in this space the best of luck in taking on the challenge that is life.

    This is the only area I don’t 100 percent agree with Corey, to no fault of his own as I love his work. How you talk about your emotions as a man is what matters. Are you coming from a place of self introspect, honesty and authenticity without asking her to be his mommy? Or are your feelings a place of neediness?
    I own my insecurities and triggers and my fiancé respects me and loves me even more because of healthy communication. How you say it matters. I actually use feelings as a vetting tool as well. I adore my fiancé because we both can feel safe and open. Anytime I didn’t feel safe being vulnerable, I moved on

      It helps if you actually listen to what i was saying about his behavior instead of trying to stroke your ego in the comment’s with a diatribe that has nothing to do with his situation mr expert.

      @@CoachCoreyWayne I watched the entirety and have been a long follower who has read the book 10 times and now have the love of my life, thanks to your work. You literally took my compliment and turned it around as if I need some validation. Anyone who has followed your work, myself included have seen a repeated theme about not showing weakness. It’s 100 percent important but also a trap that can make people robotic in relationships if they’re too fixated on that. You’ve even commented on this in your videos. You talk about success stories and I’m one of them. But I think a willingness to have a cogent discussion is necessary. I have issues with the red pill and I think people going down that route fall into this trap

    • @chickenfactory1010
      @chickenfactory1010 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That's well put. I agree, it's all about the delivery and tonality of how you're expressing the feelings. It's about taking ownership of what you feel, not placing them upon another

    • @paintopurpose
      @paintopurpose ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@chickenfactory1010 that’s exactly what I’m trying to say, though I would agree with Coach 9/10 that a man expressing his feelings usually comes from a weak stance since he’s fearful and can’t coregulate his emotions.

    Had a buddy like this. His relationship with his 1st girlfriend ended and while in a relationship with his 2nd girlfriend he got on his knees crying and begging for his 1st girlfriend back in public. It was all over social media that I do not have, but still the photo/video was circulated and shared so much to the point I got texted by friends saying “You need to come get your buddy because he’s crying like a little b***h and humiliating himself in public”. I caught such bad case of second hand embarrassment from that. (Another reason why I’ll never get Snapchat) Even his 2nd girlfriend saw all of this and the messages he sent to his 1st girlfriend begging for her back. This resulted in his 2nd girlfriend cheating on him. Such displays of beta male energy were so pitiful to watch. Couldn’t tell that guy anything.

    I think the main issue for these men is an inability to truly be themselves & totally gave up on pursuing a passion. I think many of them lived their formative years - in fear that the real them - will not be loved or able to be accepted. These are the guys that end up wasting time working at jobs they don't want to be at - watching porn - and addicted to chasing women/thirst traps on social media . These guys are totally brain washed into thinking that this is normal. Usually very conventionally beautiful women can tell if they are dating/seeing this kind of guy - & come to decide if they want to: friend zone, ignore, or indulge them for company & free attention.

    There is a fine line between a man who expresses and shares his emotions and a man who is emotional. It’s fine to feel certain ways about certain things. Women don’t want a robot, but they don’t want a beta-bitch either. Say how you feel, move on. Burying your feelings is unrealistic and unhealthy. However, spewing them all over is equally so. You can say how you feel without being a simp about it.

    19:40 You want her trying to lock you down to a commitment, because that’s feminine energy.
    19:50 Act like a man consistently. When you vacillate back and forth between being the leader / being masculine and being feminine - her attraction goes up and down, and is enough to keep her interested and sleep with you, but not enough to develop deep feelings for you where she respects you as a man. She kind of flaked but then set up a time to meet again cpl days after and fell through. But she instigated both. I accidentally saw her on the street next day and was visually annoyed and a bit perterbed I think, I didn't mean to be but I was short and a bit mean/rude. I was caught off guard and was wanting to go in at a scheduled time all positive and fun in the moment. I fucked it up by being indifferent/rude cause it was unexpected run in and I allowed myself to get upset she flaked. Should I say I was upset at something else, ignore and not mention it, or reach out (she hasn't again reached out since) and she was prior. Everything was perfect till this accidental run-in. At a higher abstract level, women will experience less attraction when a guy does anything that the woman's social instinct interprets to be one of the following:
      -Neediness
      -Insecurity
      -Approval Seeking Behavior
      So, don't BS yourself if you want a woman and make sure all your behavior does not fall in those categories.

    I once had a friend who told me his parents where very active when he was a kid. And he didn't mean Exercise or Extreme Sports. They where both Socialists and his mother was a feminist. The outcome is an overweight divorced, Middle-Class Male feminist whos wife is now living with another woman who is a Police Sargeant. He is also an alcoholic who often calls me a mysoginist for saying stuff that gives him hurty feelings.

    Glad to be back after a couple of years, I found the book more than 10 years ago and I’ve only read it three times. 😅
    I’m still acting like a little bitch too. 🥹
