I put the key from the other side and now I can't take the key. What should I do? Plus one of the things from inside was dismantled and I am trying to fix it 😢
@@rickdob I did this project yesterday. I used one drill bit the entire time--unsure on size offhand, but just start in the middle and work your way out. I had pliers handy to twist and pull pieces as I could. Wasn't too challenging.
I wish you showed us how to drill out the cylinder.
Sorry. If i came across with another broker Thule box im forsure make a video how to drill one out
You just use a small drill bit and go up in size slow and methodically. Need drill and drill bit that’s the first step

I just came across one that someone had thrown out due to the top cracking without a key. What part number do I need for the replacement lock cylinder
If you look at the face front of the old lock cylinder it show a code# and thats the kind a cylinder you need to order

Which size did you use?
@@Mrpngu I can check when I'm back in town, but not sure it really matters, so long as it's smaller than the cylinder. Slow and steady.
When you drill it out do the tumblers go in or what?
Can you change the housing? I drilled mine and it’s now proper messed up…
