I attended one of their small concerts at the Student Union at UConn in Storrs, CT back in 1988. when I was about 31. 5:13 They played a set from their Album, "Music to Strip By". They were opening for Ashwin Batish.
Not sure where I heard of them first, probably the back cover of The Residents' Diskomo that featured a drawing by Jad. I saw them once in San Francisco at the I-Beam, I think it was.
