- CHeck these things out when your working on your bike! I made this for a customer struggling to keep his temps down. ALSO shows the importance of a temp gauge. They're cheap insurance, to save you from a seized cylinder kit!
ALSO, not all oko's are made in china, But i'd say half the ones sold are. The majority of people go for the cheapest OKO they can find=chinese.

Thank you for this. I have just put on a new 49cc on my goped and was having overheating issues also and it would not start up again. I have also found that a boost bottle will help a little. also replacing the air filter to a larger one. not much! but helps a bit.

This is why torque wrenches exist. Also, Koso should be held responsible for not mentioning that you have to remove the gaskets rings from the spark plug in their instructions.

What is a good temp range? I have an athena race head.. it never gets above 260 F° should I lean it out?
Bro I have a Honda Scooter 49ccm 2 stroke X8rs and its air cooled
I was riding all day long with small pauses like 5-20 minutes to cool off
But my motorbike changed like the sound it became like louder and faster like it was usually going 50-60 kmh but now it goes 75 kmh,it leaked a bit of oil and it accelerates by itself
What cloud be a problem? Maybe its geting more gas than it should like not enough oil
Thank you for the explanation. I run a chinese scooter with 100cc Minarelli engine, 24mm pwk carb, carb setting looks ok, engine oil is ok, gaskets are ok, but just a little leak on the head cylinder. I rode the bike for at least 45 minutes non-stop, there was rough sound at engine and the throttle became heavier, so that i think i have overheating problem. Any advice? Thanks

Wonder is anyone can help I have zip and after a few minutes of riding it loses power and cuts off and the spark plug is really hot and won’t start again after
Super late but brother. If you look on my youtube i made a short about going to key west from miami on 150cc gy6 scooter, air cooled carb. Transpro aviator. Honda adv clone. Speeds average 45-60, if im maintaining 50 whats the best for taking breaks. When i went i think i took to many breaks cause the ride was 7 hkurs instead of 4. Weather, no rain all sun with shade cover from some clouds and traffic never jammed when we got back on the road. Can i just gun it all the way? Or take just one break. One way is 171 miles for me
Can’t I just do a compression test to see if there are leaks? If so what compression should a horizontal Zuma be with a 70cc?
No a compression test is for compression. Not for air leaks.. all depends on the cylinder you have

Hi did you try to contact d the shop you for the cylinder from for support? It’s hard to know without the details on your bike and the parts
I got that Prebug Polini Evo 70 kit from you but I was trying to find out what Spark Plug to Run and what Temp Range for Florida. I got everything for my build but a spark plug LOL

If my temp ring is half thinner than the spark plug ring, should I cut it anyways, or just leave it?

Would overturning the valves cause the engine to overheat cuz it wasn't overheating until this guy did an adjustment on my valves please tell me I didn't need this bike for work I can't afford to have it seize. Thank you

also do you allways cut the metal ring washer on the spark plug im not sure if I heard you correctly or not.

If we have a leak on the cylinder head how can this be corrected?
Saxo pt 51 you need to find the leak, take the head off or wherever it is. Replace the gasket and re seal
