I too, went into this book not knowing anything about it, so I was surprised to learn about Lily, and then Jennifer Finney Boylan. I really learned a lot. I liked this quote from the preface: "Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards." - Soren Kierkegaard. Great review! Thank you for sharing.
