Hawaiian Music Hula: Weldon Kekauoha "Mele O Lanaʻi"

Weldon Kekauoha performs for a gathering of family and friends on Kahahala Beach (Oʻahu). Among the friends many of them most outstanding hula dancers from the Hawaiian Islands, including the young girls of Hālau ʻOlapakūikalai ʻO Hōkūaulani. Mahalo.

My mother won a hula contest one time.... In Roanoke Virginia.. she looked very Hawaiian.. tall with narrow feet.. and with hair that went down her back past her waist..
