@SpartenJohns that has to be one of the best comments I've gotten in a long time! Thank you for watching and leaving a comment! I really appreciate the support!
My first Sentinel also had that centering problem exactly like yours did. I lost it a few years ago and I bought another one with the clip and it's prefectly centered.
@maskudo Good to know! Sounds like a random issue that pops up then. Glad to hear your 2nd one was fixed. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment! I really appreciate the support!
Nice video. Unfortunately I consider the knife inferior to the LD11-B in every way, which is also cheaper to get around here. Superior steel, blade shape, form factor, scales material, in-scales tools, thumb stud opening, pocket clip, side profile (no thumb ring potruding), locking mechanism, linerlock placement, liner material, the list goes on really. It's ridiculous Victorinox is defending its monopoly in the multitool knife world so effortlessly. Ever since acquiring my first Ruike I started hating swiss made knives with a passion. I would love to see a Review on the LD11 from you, and perhaps even a review on their thicker knives as well as smaller knives, and perhaps-perhaps even a comparison video between identical toolset victorinox and Ruike knives. There's a lack of in-depth reviews discussing their strengths and weaknesses on these out there. - also pretty 2 big cons I experienced while others maybe haven't - I used a model with an additional layer in construction and the scales bent after just a single days exposure to sunlight and they came off, making the knife uncomfortable to hold. And the lock disengage requiring two hands or your left hand is highly annoying while you're doing certain tasks requiring a knife around the site! Both problems which the ld11 b does not have, which made it such a godsend for me this year - - I started writing this comment midway through the vid, actually a pros and cons video between the LD11-B and this Victorinox would be quite entertaining for me, I'd love to see if other people have similar experience with those knives as me but as I said, my Victorinox scales gave up after mere hours exposed to heat/sunlight whereas the Ruike scales seem virtually indestructible!
@Daikenkini Posso Very interesting! I do have to say that this is the cheapest feeling SAK I've ever owned like I mentioned in the video. If you'd like to see a review of the LD11B, shoot me an email! I'll see what I can do. It might be awhile as I have quite the backlog of gear to get through making videos about at the current time. Thanks for watching all the way through and commenting! It means a lot!
Looking for a complementary EDC to go with my SAK (Huntsman: good for light jobs, imho), your comment was a life-saver. Didn't want another Victorinox, but every knife looked too heavy to me. Checked the LD11-B out: looks solid, light and perfect for my purposes. Thanks mate.
Not sure where you are based, but in Europe you can easily find the sentinel for 25€ or below(31€ is the recommended retail price). I got mine for 20€ and i think its worth the price. The only thing i do not like about the knive is that the liner is so stiff. I can hardly open the blade onehanded….
@Tim Summers Thats alright. That's why were different people. What might be a problem for me might not be one for you. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment! I really appreciate the support!
@@AKOGR 11:47 Don't worry about the off-centered blade tip. The 111mm are all like that and there's no error in quality control. I own five of them and they all look exactly like yours. The pocket clip is a popular feature among American knife people but bear in mind this is a Swiss product and Europeans really don't care about it. However, to please the American market (a very important one), Victorinox makes it possible to add a pocket clip to your 111mm. It's a win-win situation for all of us.
@Chriswoz83 Tomato Tomatto there are lots of ways I've heard it pronounced. Not really the point of the video but I appreciate you taking notice of the details. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment! Appreciate the support!
I came for the opinions but stayed for the enthusiasm with which they were delivered

This is the best pocket knife that I've ever owned. I've carried mine for 7 years. It is a beast of a knife, and the design quality is impeccable.
@J Hold it does have a very sturdy build quality. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment!

The Sentinel also retains the backspring of the slipjoint knives, so technically its blade has two points of retention.
@freman007 two is one and one is none! Thank you for watching and leaving a comment!
Great review. I decided to purchase it.

Vic-tor-inox not “Victrinox”
