Lakshmi ( she got national award few years after), kishen oda old movies spoof ellam ennoda fav ❤❤ u were one of the few channels with good production quality at that time. Really wish the Tamil audience had the spine to support them in the theaters. They had pretty known faces in the cast. I thought they discarded Kadaisi vivasayi but man they just push good efforts out of the window. No wonder the audience watch other language movies who complain it's not fast enough - hypocracy at their best.

I used to look forward to the new year in my childhood, primarily waiting for suresh kumar from Sun tv to give the top 10 movies of the year. This kinda gave me the nostalgia in that way. But times change and so does taste. This video literally gave a cinema lover the satisfaction of looking back at a good year. Sudhir sir, I saw you speak at Ethiraj, wonderful then, wonderful now as well.
57:40 Kanguva and Indian 2 clearly deserve Entertainer of the year cos every other movie entertained us for a maximum of 3 hrs, whilst these 2 entertained us for the entire year through memes and trolls! Clearly deserving the title!

The word Raunaq used to describe him at the start of the video "empathetic" could not have been chosen better. The obvious negative connotation of a "critic" and the win-lose idea of "awards" were completely subverted in this wholesome celebration of everything Tamil cinema offered in 2024.

I am very glad that someone echoed my sentiment finally finally. I havent come across a single round table where Sri Gowri Priya's performance was even mentioned. Hers is the most underrated performance of the year. Manikandan did well but it is Gowri who rightly deserves all the awards for the best debut this year.
