I watched the whole video to find out that the diagonal lines are just visual and not textured 😂 I want to make some textured dish clothes and kind of hoped to see a pattern. But I am not disappointed, I had fun watching and your peg “board” is awesome !

Well tracking is textured, but just completely random. Texture with a rhl is very challenging. It usually means either another heddle, or string heddles or maybe a pickup stick

Ironic that you released a dishcloth weaving video today, as I am in the black hole of warping a scarf on my RH loom today as well. Before I started I thought about switching it and doing dishcloths but decided to stick with my original plan for the scarf and have been wishing I'd listened to my instinct for the last couple of hours as I un-warp the giant mess I made.🤦‍♀️Yours look great though❤️, I'm definitely doing dishcloths after this gets corrected, woven and off the loom🤞😆😆

Lovely- based on your suggestion I did some dish cloths like this but my vintage machine doesn’t do zig zag- I did a straight stitch- together with the hem stitch it is more than enough. I also got some if that “tracking” after washing. I thought it was my mistake. Thanks for sharing.
    Gracias

Peaches n Creme from Walmart is a different diameter than Sugar n Cream. I noticed it on a project of towels/washcloths I did that were white and brown/multicolor for my mom. It came out okie in the end, I'll probably be the only one that notices the difference. She uses the towels every day and enjoys them. I like your finishing technique better than what I did. I did not like the bulky turn over and sew. I have a serger, but I don't like serged edges on wash cloths. Thank you for the instructions! ❤

Lorenzo is lovely, and I bet he smells wonderful! Did you know citrus leaves are great to throw on the coals when grilling? They add a lovely mild citrusy zest flavor to whatever you're cooking. Not sure I'd recommend it on a gas grill if that's what you have...

I really enjoyed your video, thank you. I am new at weaving and made my first wash cloth yesterday. When I took the ends off the loom, I tied four strings together in a knot all the way across. I was planning on leaving small tassels on it, but the washing machine did not like that idea lol. The ends matted up pretty bad. So, I trimmed them up some. What is your opinion on knotting the ends instead of sewing them, will the knots stay?
