      They need to patiently add UTSA. Why do people think the Pac 12 has to do more than 8 for now?

    • @roderickturner9806
      @roderickturner9806 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Why Texas St?
      1. Located between Austin and San Antonio so access to two nice size TV markets.
      2. Student body of 40,000.
      3. 30,000 seat football stadium.
      Stop turning down your noses to Texas St. PAC 12 still needs 8 programs to meet the conference eligibility requirements for NCAA. Utah St makes #7, UNLV potentially #8. For scheduling purposes, a 9th team means you can schedule 8 conference games and that's where Texas St makes sense.

    • @roderickturner9806
      @roderickturner9806 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @BuffaloPros because a 9th team means you can have 8 conference games. That's one less OOC game you have to worry about. UTSA, Memphis, Tulane, and others would still be in play to eventually get to 12 teams.

    I’m a Boise State fan. I hate the fact they keep pulling from the mountain west. It’s basically going to turn into the mountain west 2.0 with 2 pac-12 teams and a new nameBoise State wanted to leave the mountain west for more competition and recognition. They can’t get more recognition or credit they deserve if they keep playing the same teams for a conference title. Just because Boise State is a pac-12 team, are they suddenly magically relevant just because of the pac12 name? It’s ridiculous. We should have gone to the Big12 instead of other teams like UCF. We’ve had more history of success than UCF has

    PAC 12 needs to get guaranteed basketball games against UCONN if they bring on their football team. Remember that Uconn has not gone to other conferences because the other conferences would not take their football team. Use that as leverage.

    The PAC 12 will be about as competitive as the ACC if not more. Who outside of FSU, Miami, Clemson, and UNC are really going to compete for the CFP? It makes sense they’d take a card from the ACC and go far east to find a football program to add. UCONN is definitely a nationally recognized brand! UTSA said no. Texas State will have to say no because the travel cost will nail them. Neither keep a payout over $10M. Actually, one could argue that Memphis and Tulane have a much better path to the playoff by remaining in the AAC. In the 10 years of the CFP, the AAC had the highest ranked G5 conference champion 6 times, CUSA had it 2 times, the MAC had it 1 time, and MWC 1 time.
