What if Steven wasn't crying, but rose? rose had to shatter PD *because* she was in control of earth. it wasn't personal, but if rose didn't do it there would be no earth. she has some guilt in her when she sees BD still stricken with greif through Steven and couldn't help but cry with her too.

I know i'm a year late, but you should watch "A single pale rose" If you watched everything else. It holds A LOT of information.
I always figured that only Steven is able to go into Lion's mane, but anyone or anything touching him is also able to pass through, which is why Pearl wouldn't be able to go in when trying by herself, but Peridot is able to when Steven rides in the mane with her.

Flareblade actually it's not a cloud figure, it's actually a reference to a webcomic done by Ian jones quartley in the mid 2000's called RPG world in which the character does make a striking resemblance to cloud it is not
Actually, now that I look at the RPG World character, you make a point. Though, the figure has a darker outfit more reminiscent of Cloud.
