Hello DIY Reid, great vodeo. Thank you for your review and unboxing the Eufy 1080p battery powered video doorbell. I look forward to more Eufy products with your review. Best regards, Greg
Hi we have this it worked fine at the start but now when someone rings the Bell its very hard to know what they are saying? they can hear me fine, but I can't hear due to cracking sound/ broken voice on line? can you help with this? Thank you.
Nevermind! You covered the topic just after I wrote my comments! (I didn't notice if there is a setting to allow detection of animals, in case someone wants to detect them.)
Thanks for the video. I am considering getting the Eufy and the video is helpful in making the decision. How is the audio from the app back to the doorbell? Can people at the doorbell hear you easily? Is picture quality at closer range better than what is shown in your test? Have you attempted to integrate the Eufy with Amazon Alexa? If so was it a seamless integration?
The audio isn't too bad. On the phone it's great. Listening to the doorbell is a bit muffled but you can still make out what they are saying. I find this to be the same with most video doorbells. Daytime quality is what you get. Nighttime I did notice the sensor took a bit to adjust when you got closer or further away from the camera. I have not integrated it with Amazon Alexa, however, those types of integrations are pretty seamless with the Alexa app.
@@DIYReidwell this doorbell is as good as a chocolate teapot. It worked then stopped. I have reinstalled, checked settings and god knows everything. I am now looking at how I can take it off and possibly cover the drilled parts with the reliable Ring doorbell and pay a subscription.

Good video. Only thing you missed was time between pressing the bell to getting notified

Will this connect directly to an existing Eufy home base station? How does the extender work with the base station?
Is your original indoor chime from your house still working or the eufy chime only?
I am going to try and do it myself. You are a good teacher. I hope I can do it. Do I have to buy the sd card separate?
Yes, you'll need to buy an SD Card if you want it to store locally. It's a Micro SD card if I recall.

@@DIYReid Thanks for the reply. You've been very helpful.
You’re welcome
Can this be wired in as well?
Really helpful. Thanks man
Thanks for watching!
Does it work while in charge. I mean if I had it hard wired through the micro USB, does still operate? that way I do not have to charge it.
Can u connect it to a homebase 2?
Hii, is there a subscription to use this doorbell? Or are all features free to use?
Free. Unless you want cloud storage.
@@DIYReid Thank you !
Can multiple phones in the house get notifications and can everyone all talk and see the video of the person at the door all at once?
When charging is the light suppose to stay on?
I can’t remember. Is it a red light?
How do you set the time on the doorbell camera
It sets itself where you’re located.
I wish you had gone through the cell phone set up.
I have one but it was ok at first but after charging it went off line and can't get it to work my WiFi is very strong
Do you need a homebase for this to work?
No.
OK how does it sound when the bell rings ...
DING DONG
😄
Ding dong 😂
Now that’s funny.
I'm going to buy the 1080p Security system. Can I add this to the home base system? Or are they separate?
I don’t believe so on this one. I’m not 100% though.
I have bought this doorbell and am now seeing that the WiFi has to be 2.4HGZ my WiFi is 5 GHZ does this mean I need to send it back?
Thank you useful information
You’re welcome.
Very helpful! Thankyou!

No one says anything about the sd card! Do I just put it in chime and it will show on my eufy app?
Yes.
@@DIYReid the card is coming tommorow I gave already set the chime up, if I unplug the chime to put card in can I just plug it back in after?
@Izzymoggington yeah.
