    Hi Rob George and Dottie!

    Hello Rob,
I may have a solution for the heavy generator problem. I recently had work on my rotator cuff and I cant lift much of anything over 10 pounds on my left side. I realized the back hitch on my pick up could take a hoist for lifting deer. They are on several sites online and the price was very reasonable in the neighborhood of $100.00. The one I purchased lifted 400 lbs and had a swivel at the bottom to let it rotate out and then I could lower it to the ground.
I use a heavy tie-down strap and wrap it several times around each of the top handles (this keeps it from sliding side to side and then up to a peak on the top on my Predator 5000 (from harbor freight) its about 107 pounds empty.
Like you, I had a heavy Ebike and I realized I too would need something lighter to continue to use it. The hoist solved that problem also, when I put it in a tote with the end cut out to slide it out. The tote had four slots cut in each corner and the longer straps worked the same way. I used the 40 gal. size yellow and black tote we purchased at Sam's club.
My wife and I watch all your stuff and its your fault we fell in to this( Big thank you!), one more year of work and my wife and I will be joining you in this lifestyle.
Thanks for everything you do, hope to see you soon!

Thank you so much for this. You’ll find out in a video soon that my champion did not work out. I had to return it and I ended up buying a predator 5000. I managed to figure out a way where I never have to take it out of the back of my truck and I can run it off the tailgate. so far I’m pretty happy with the purchase, especially because it can run on propane and it has a remote start! I did trade in my old electric bike for a lite model and I can easily lift it in the back of the truck

As one who has run a 3,000 watt Honda generator in the back of my truck, I would urge you to be very careful. My truck did not have a topper, but I plugged a fan into the generator and pointed it at the generator control panel to keep it cool and help direct the exhaust in the correct direction. Be safe.

I am only operating it on the tailgate with exhaust pointed out - never in the bed

Rob your honda generator can be connected to another 2200 watt generator to have 4400 watts and reduce the weight to only moving one generator at a time. You already purchased a heavy generator so this option may not be available.

You may catch this and over a couple of videos but I bought a champion 4650 and that failed after a few days and I returned that and now I have a predator 5000. I solved the weight problem by figuring out I can permanently have it in the back of my pick up truck and run it on the tailgate. It also will run on propane and has a remote electric start. After I service the Honda, I will sell it.

Come on over to New England next summer. It's a ride but we have beautiful places as you know. You can park your camper in my side yard. I can give you water and power for free. You would just need to find a place to dump your tanks. No 2 week max her you could stay as long as you want. I can take you all around New England. Lighting on your head in this video looks odd.

Lots of light behind me! Had to over expose my face so you could see it. A pro would have used a reflector or fill light
