I bought a knitted shirt and a wool beanie from John Henric and from what I can tell it seems to be good quality. First off the rack shirt I’ve ever bought that actually fits my shoulders correctly. Would love to see a 2024 update video 🙏🏻

Brit in Sweden here, got two John Henric chambray shirts recently and the quality is really great for the cost. Been looking for shirts like this for ages and the price point for the quality is really good value

I'm glad I just ran into this video. I'm trying to find my style while re-shaping how I see fashion. Your videos have been helping immensely. They are giving me the courage and inspiration to continue trying, Thanks!

Thanks for the mention mate. I had the same reaction as you - pleasantly surprised on all points. Hard to find those style of garments so easily when you want them and the fact they have them RTW for a good price and quality is what gives them a Yes from me. Keen to try something else myself.
    Great review and video!

Firstly, great video and I applaud you for making it because there isn't much about the brand available online in terms of review. Secondly, I really hope you do a review of one of their blazers as they seems like one of their most popular pieces and perhaps some of their pieces that interest me the most personally.

I like this video and that you're taking a closer look into the brand. As a swede I can tell you a little bit more of the background. They started as a accessories brand. That's why they got tons of ties, scarves, lapel pins and etc.
They got also got well know gor their knitted blazers and smart casual style. The knitted blazer fit aint supposed to fit as a more formal jacket I think.
The brand keeps expanding into different areas of menswear. I remember their first pair of denims showed up just a couple of years ago. The linen blazer and regular blazers aswell.
John Henric is probably my favourite brand at the moment. They got great smart casual stuff. I got 2 pairs of chinos from them, a fleece shirt jacket that they released last year (absolutly love it), those green linen drawstring trousers that you looked at in the beginning. A dawn vest also.
So I would say, if you want great looking smart wear at great prices, John Henric is your go-to

When it comes to accessories i have 2 leather bracelets and leather wallet from john... amazing. I also have few polos, one fully open polo, all in merino wool. Also linen dress shirt... all amazing for the price. Paid like 60-75 ish per polo on sales. Will last years.
I saw a very rich couple at airport (i could tell by their garment, looked like cashmere etc), they were eying me, as i had john henric navy merino polo, with those black/brown wooden buttons etc screams a 400+ usd polo. They were probably thinking- one of us. I had blue merino polo, dark jeans, and black dress leather sneakers, leather strap watch on, and john henric brown leather bracelet. His stuff looks literally 5x and more than it actually cost. Merino polo is so softttttt.
In todays world, john henric in clothing, is like tlb mallorca, bridlen in dress shoes. They offer insane value for the money. For example tlb mallorca artista line 450 euro shoes, is 90% of the bespoke shoe from 1000+ euro shoe makers.

Very informative video, thanks! I came across them several times now and while I wouldn't buy into their more formal tailoring I think they could be a nice option for some linen basics, unstructured overshirts etc. A brand I get similar vibes off and I did try before is Gutteridge - maybe worth a look for you too? :)

Cheers Tobias! Similar with John Henric, I’ve never really looked into Gutteridge so might have to!

Remind me of other brands like Mango that makes great casual prices but maybe misses a bit in the tailoring? Difference in quality often seems to be more noticeable in tailoring than with more casual clothes 🤔

I got a ”whool suit” for 2990 sek.
    And the quality was 4/10
Just above Shein to be honest.
    The cut was weird.
Massive crotch space🤣 and really tight around the wrists and fitting a double cuff shirt was not possible.
But their accessories and shirts are high quality.
I have several shirts, ties and belts from them.

Thanks for the review! Hadn’t tried the suits but the smaller items definitely seem to be better received

£59 for a polo without any sustainability credentials, no material differentiation, boring design or quality markers (organic cotton etc), is not cheap in my opinion. You can get an Organic cotton, manufactured in Portugal or Spain for £59.
Spelling mistakes in their bio/introduction “weeding” instead of “wedding” is red flag too.
