I heard stories about joe bonsall from Paul furrow was at their open house and I said to joe after he could tell me stories about Paul I said to joe bonsall I heard what you did, I was going to tell him what I knew and now I can't but ut would have brought a smile to his face. Was so nice when I was on their bus. Saw joe in November at christmas show in Anderson indiana at paramount theater, two weeks before show got covid and wasn't sure if I would be able to attend but I was able to attend, first time for seeing christmas concert. Love you jie for I gave many fond memories of the oaks and if joe.when I heard had finished my day of jury duty and stopped for dinner saw on phone from hank fm in indianapolis that joe had passed I cried in the restaurant was such a shock , peace and love to duane William lee Richard gas been a rough year for the oaks prayers to family,friends and fans
You know what’s great about their music….. u don’t have to guess what they r saying in their songs!!!! We know every word and sing along! That’s real country music ❤️
That wasn't his last performance. He couldn't stand at the end. He was being assisted on and off the stage since before Dec 2023. He wasn't physically able enough to stand and tell a story.
He loved singing and performing and we loved it too!

Joe certainly was the energy behind the group. He knew how to engage the audience and work the crowd.
