Hey guys I am here because I am looking for help for an exam which is coming up in a week which is based on a novel that we (the students) do not know. However, my university professor spilled some information on the novel, mainly that the novel or a certain chapter/scene of the novel is said to play in a house/appartment on 89/Lamberton (street), which seems to be a very specific type of information if you ask me. If anyone out there happens to have read a novel which included this address I would be thankful if you could leave a short reply under this comment, stating the title and author of the novel. Thanks a lot in advance and have a nice weekend 😊 and to those who are also in the midst of writing exams: Good luck 👍

Such a great premise for a recommendations episode! For me the two books that have recently just completely floored me and engaged me and reignited my relationship to reading are Lamya H's Hijab Butch Blues and Alice Oseman's Loveless. I just felt completely seen by these two books and felt they were really spoke to me as a person. They'd appeal to anyone who wants to read about queer experiences that still aren't well represented in the world of literature - reading these books felt like quenching a deep insatiable thirst I didn't know I had

Jack !!! Please read "The Little Paris Bookshop" by Nina George if you haven't already. It's a book about loving books and more specifically about a bookseller who has the ability to tell what books his customers need, books that will heal their souls.
I recommend this book to anyone who's reading this comment, trust me on this; it's life-changing. It will also make you want to live in Paris (lol). This book feels like a warm hug, I've never read a book before that I wanted to re-read over and over again, but this book changed that.

Jack love your choices. I really enjoyed 'The Siberia Job' a white-knuckle ride! The author expertly captures the chaos of post-Soviet Russia with a flair for tension and historical detail. It's a 'can't-put-down' kind of book - fast-paced, exhilarating, and packed with suspense!

How High We Go in the Dark 1000%! I had to back and skim it again when I got to the end. I had to wait two days before starting a new read because I couldn't get it out of my head.

Would appreciate book recs from any of y’all
A book that will make you shed the tears that you didn’t know you were holding back
Or anything that a cat lounging in the sun would read/for a trip to the beach.
Also anything that is just good vibes and makes you feel at peace being alone in nature.

For the first one I would recommend As long as the lemon trees grow by Zoulfa Katouh & the second one I would recommend The travelling cat chronicles by Hiro Arikawa because it has a cat and travels (a bit sad too)

Hi, I have a profound fondness for the fantasy romance genre, which encompasses love stories featuring enchanting elements. I am especially captivated by narratives that involve transportation to alternate realms in the quest for love, as well as tales of love that transcend time through the concept of reincarnation. If you have any recommendations that align with these themes, I would greatly appreciate it.
