- Ultimate King Air Compilation - A Beech C90GTi King Air is starting up at Augsburg airport. Hear the complete progress with NO music and just the sound of those pt6 turboprop engines. After the start up you will see the aircraft taxiing to the runway and then making the take off with just using about 700m / 2300ft at EDMA airport. Afterwards she's coming in for a touch and go, overflight and then landing with full thrust reverser where you can hear a perfect sound and then taxiing back to the parking stand.

This brings back so many fond memories of flying in my uncles B90 as a boy in the 70's. And yes, I do love the sound of a turboprop starting up. From the initial compressor sound giving way to the spinning prop, this is pure aviation porn as another commenter once made.

I love this aircraft. The lines of the C90 GTI are damn near perfect plus it's performance stats are outstanding. My uncle flew some of these and raved about how good they were and I can tell you, he was right. My uncle flew for American Airlines until he retired. Thanks for a great video without music.

I don't care how much more a Gulfstream G-series jet costs, Beechcraft King Air will forever be the best looking private plane. Period.

Gelodicus Nah, PC-12 looks like a mash up of a King Air 90 with a Piper Meridian. It looks good, but I think the King Air's design is just timeless.

I work on King Air, Cheyenne, Conquest, & Citation aircraft - 90% is all P&W PT-6, and occasionally we'll have a treat being a Garrett 331.
All I can say about this start-up is WOW....

Even after all these years, this is still a VERY HOT private turboprop aircraft. I wish I could afford to own one of these, since it would make an excellent family aircraft.
My #1 favorite commercial turboprop is the Bombardier Q400. Wouldn't mind owning one of those birds, either. They fly like a DC-9, MD-80/90, or 717, but with turboprop economy!

@@MarcUlm sadly last year over 9 months ago a king air 350 crashed in the philippines all onboard died it was a med evac plane

@@MarcUlm apparently its the weather and before it was seen plummeting the right wing part of it already was seen fallin off midair before the actual plane crashed but till this day there is still no clear reason why that happened or how it happened

Nice video. This is the airplane I would buy if I was to become financially able. It's the perfect airplane for personal/business duty. With additional training could be flown single pilot, more choices of airports to get in and out, and I doubt there's a country in the world that does not have a few King Airs around, so the knowledge is out there.

If you look at tail of the King Air it has a piece of extra trim that hangs straight down on both sides, does anyone know what that does ? No guess' please

What is the purpose of the props being fully feathered at start up? Seems to me the props would spin up easier and faster at zero pitch.
That would be true of a TPE331, these are PT-6 engines which are Free Turbine so no need to start them with the props in fine…..

The C90GTi doesn't have winglets ;) Only the C90GTx is fitted with the winglets.

I was disappointed to see Beechcraft left this plane with the critical engine problem. Would expect more for such an expensive aircraft.
King Airs fly just fine with the critical engine shutdown. There’s really no critical engine issue. King Airs have plenty of single-engine climb performance.
