      I need help, i was hired today and i didn't declare my previous 6-month experience. My prev job was my very first job and i went on AWOL bec it was what my TL have resorted to bec my immediate resignation was declined by our HR. But now i am so afraid that they might terminate me because they will be seeing my tax footprints. What should i do?

      Hi po. How abt if nagpasa ako ng RL, then 2 days before my official last day nag AWOL ako.. Is it still considered awol? Less than 6 months lng po ako dun.

    Been on a telco company for a year, first BPO job. Did AWOL. Now, regretting of why I didn’t file for resignation properly. This video helps me confirm whether I should hide it or disclose. This is scary, coz every statement will be debatable. Thanks for this vid ate rea. ❤️

    I went awol in my first BPO company, well I really enjoyed my time there, learned a lot and management is great. I just had to make a hard decision between continuing my college degree because I am a graduating student or continue working, so I was not able to render the 30 days and besides I feel like being tormented between choices and it made me really depressed somehow, crying while working.

    Ms. Ninja. What if I went AWOL to a non-bpo company and I only took 1cutoff salary I mean I did only 25days working to the comp. then just disappeared. But then, I checked my SSS account history and it appeared to the system my prev comp name. I went AWOL because of the family problem. Should i need to include AWOL exp. to my Resume? Hoping for your response. :(

    Mag tanong lang po ako kung ano ang dapat kong gawin kase pinadalhan na po ako ng notice of awol ng employer ko.
    Morethan 30 days na kase ako wala info, pero balak ko na rin mag resign . Paano po ba ito?

    I only stayed for 7 days, was not able to join the training but I gave them a resignation letter. hr did not request for me to render 30 days but I fail to provide a med cert (reason why I left). Is that considered as AWOL?

    Miss Rea, my friend declared that she finished 2 years in college (undergraduate) when in fact she's just a high school graduate. And another friend of mine also declared that he finished 2 years without back subjects, but only completed a year in college. They still working in the company though that company has a background check. Does the background checking only checks your employment history, not the educational attainment?

      It depends on the company. They have different levels of background checks. Usually they do it just for the job history. For educational attainment, not so much but it's very possible that offenders will get caught when HR will require school records.

      Actually, the first one provided a fake diploma. She told me that she's been doing it with the three companies she worked in. And for my second friend, he just told the HR that his TOR will be "to follow". Maybe some of the companies are not that strict to the employees.

      Possible that some companies are not strict with requirements. Personally though, I will never submit anything fake and will discourage anyone to do anything like that. It might not be an issue now, but it might be in the future. I will also have doubts with companies that are complacent in hiring people. Always better safe than sorry. 🙂

    Hi, I'm just curious what if I was a part time student and at the same time working in a fast food chainfo a year. Before not receiving schedule anymore I declared that I cannot report to work due to personal reasons. It's been 2 yrs now, would it still reflect on my later job application?

    Should I include my previous work company in resume despite going awol or should I just mention that during an interview? I actually just got out of training prior to pandemic and still haven't digested it all resulting in lack of confidence on operating alone since my company had a lot of irate customers, on top of that I have not been to work for months since ECQ so I kinda forgot how to operate after they have sent the WFH equipment. I guess stress just shut it all down since I also got evicted that day just when the equipment arrived although I still haven't touch the equipment since its arrival and is safely stored.
    Lots of skills picked up during the quarantine and rebuilt my confidence that is why I am looking to apply to the same industry BPO but I am worried about my employment history.

    How about I already rendered my resignation letter and suddenly I got sick for almost 1week before my last day? It is considered as AWOL?
    But while I'm in my absences/sick I kept update my supervisor

    I have resigned in my previous company but it was immediate. I said i need to relocate to another place because of political threat in our area where i work. But in my resignation letter i stated different reasons because its too sensitive to tell to my previous supervisor.     I quit without proper notice in McDonald's because my co- workers bullying me every time. I thought to myself for so long why did I do that I should've still show up and submit my resignation and wait for 12 days but I couldn't take it anymore I even loose my wallet in my own locker maybe they're just playing pranks on me though it's just a small amount of money that I lost but the emotional damage my coworkers gave has been haunting me for awhile.

    Hello, I pass my resignation after a week I got hired. Now I'm having second hand thought if I should continue to render because tbh, I am completely exhausted from all the work at stuff. I got overwhelmed and needed to breath. Also, I haven't comply with all the requirements the company just told me to start immediately. Is it alright if I don't finish my one month render since I haven't comply with all the requirements? Thank you.

    Mam pano kung almost 3years ng awol at nagpasa ka ng letter at sabi ng hr ay hnd daw makakuha ng coe dahil awol nanganak kasi ako at magkasunod naging anak ko kaya d na ako nakabalik ng work.

    I applied for immediate resignation due to health condtions. But the company clinic declined. the reason because it was not valid. I was diagnosed on a disease that i might undergo medical intervention such as surgery. And now i was tagged awol. Hahahaha

      Na try mo i inquire sa DOLE yan? Kasi naka lagay sa Labor Code yan na pag may medical reasons ka na mag leave ng Work yung company is walang karapatan na mag sabi na Invalid reason mo. At di lang dapat sa Company Doctor sila mag rely. Kaya nga may second opinion eh.

    hello po, Nag awol po ako nung 2017. Seasonal Account po 3 months contract. Mga 2 weeks na lng sna before matapos ung contract ko. kasu lng nabalitaan ko ung balita about sa k-12 na last chance na lng dw ng mga student sa old curriculum na mkpg enroll kc mg new curriculum na sa 2018. qng hindi babalik ka daw ng senior high kaya natakot ako at kinabukasan ng pa enroll ako kahit late na. Balak ko po sana bumalik sa bpo ulit kaso lng natatakot ako nakapababa ng self confidence :(. Sana po ma notice po.

    Tanong ko lang po. Nag resign po ako sa company ko. Natapos ko po ang 30 days render. Kaso may mga absent ako.at late gawa ng namatay po ang nanay ko nag sent po ako ng death cert. In my last day kinausap ako ng boss ko.sabi kahit natapos ko yong render ko.since may mga absent at late ako di daw ako rehireble. Tama po ba yon?

I was hired in other company that requires me to submit SSS Employment history and I'm currently employed for 3 months but I did pass my Resignation letter last Nov 12, 2021 so I can render for 30 days since my starting date in my new company will be on Dec 13, 2021. I'm just worried because I did not disclose in my initial interview that I'm currently employed to other company and I did not put it in my resume that I sent to them. But they do background check and it's required to submit SSS Employment history which is indicated here the Contributions of my last company but they asked me to fill out some profile or a form that they can use for background investigation and I put in the form all my experience that matches in my SSS Employment history.
      My Questions here:
      Magchecheck din po ba sila ng interviews ko since hindi magmamatch yung sinabi ko sa initial and final interview also in my resume sa form na pinag fill out nila sakin for background investigation?

    Hi po Ms. Rea, sana po matulungan nyo ko, nag awol po kasi ako dati sa isang bpo company bale 1month lang po ako dun and that was 4 years ago, nagpaalam naman po ako kaso di na ako nakapagrender kasi nagkasakit ako kaya wala akong coe. After po nun, wala naman ako work, then ngayon nagaapply po ako sa govt, ask ko po if ilalagay ko pa po ba sa pds yun, since wala din po akong ibang work experience, kasi baka malaman din po and makikita sa contributions if ever. Sana po masagot nyo, thank you po.

    Ms. Rhea stressed na po ako about dito. Ayaw po ng company ng immediate resign, gusto po nila render ng 30 days. Pag immediate resign daw po considered nila as awol. Stressed na po ako kasi di na sila maka.tao. di ko na po sila kayang pasukan.

    Ms Rhea I worked for a CC for 2 months the awoled pag 2019, then nag VA online and now gusto ko mag work sa office setting not related to BPO. Hindi included sa resume yung CC work just yung VA. Pano po yung pag submit ng government docs ko po like bir, philhealth, sss, pagibig. nahulugan ko as "voluntary member" yung pagibig at sss ko. Yung sa BIR anong form yung typical na hinihingi nila?

    Hi Rea! I just wanted to ask. I wanted to resign the right way. I was having anxiety and extreme stress at work. Our operations manager is also definitely the strictest operations manager out there and our community is very competitive.
    I wanted to resign as soon as possible. I asked for an immediate resignation but was told that I had to render 30 days.
    During the 30 days rendering period, can I incur some absences? I really don't mind my back pay being reduced. I just wanted to ease what I am feeling right now and to get these over with. I am not entitled to SL's and VL's due to not being regularized just yet.
    After I am free from my current job, I do plan on going for the BPO industry again while face to face classes are not yet available. Preferably on non voice and in BGC area since BGC is just walking distance from my house so way less hassle.

      You can be absent naman as long as it is approved by your supervisor. Consecutive unapproved absences may merit termination so baka instead resignation ang status mo, materminate ka due to attendance. Just let your sup know para approved pa rin kahit di ka eligible for SLs.

    I went awol nung nag work ako sa Convergys, Cebu City kasi d ko na carry yung night shift tas nasa training pa ako. d maka concentrate yung brain ko. tas nung nag start na ako sa training, every morning, d ako makatulog . minsan more than 24 hours akong walang tulog guys. 🤣 Nanibago kasi body sleeping routine ko.. I cant hide this job on my resume kasi naka record na sya sa sss, philhealth and saka pag ibig. 😫

I was scared really pero na remember q ung sabi ng sub trainer namin na if gus2 naming mag quit na d pa tapos ang training, d daw kami dapat matakot sa fine dahil pampanakot lang daw yun. Well, it's been seven years now pero wala namang problem except sa record ko sa sss, philhealth saka pagibig.

    Sana mapansin tong comment ko ni Ms. Rhea dahil sa mga videos nya nagkaroon ako ng lakas ng loob na mag-apply at bumuo ng career sa call center.
    Ang question ko po. Hindi ko diniclare ang previous company ko dahil 1 month lang ang tinagal ko and still nasa training pa ko nun. At magpahanggang ngayon on process pa rin ang clearance ko. Hindi naman po ako AWOL nag immediete resign ako at maayus ang pag-uusap namin ng TL ko.
    May chance po ba na materminate ako sa bagong company ko ngayon kapag nakita nila sa background check na hindi ko sinabi ang previous company ko? Gumagamit po sila ng third party for background checking. Ano pong best way Ms. Rhea? iopen ko po ba sa recruitment na may di ako diniclare na company or ikeep ko lang 😥 sana matulungan nyo ako ng magandang gawin ayaw ko pong mawala ang work na to saken

      Di naman kailangan ilagay sa resume if not relevant na. So you can just move forward with it. But if they ask you about it in case man mahanap nila sa bg check, then you should disclose it and you can say na 1 month ka lang doon and it's not a relevant experience.

    Ask ko lang po Ma'am meron po akong 2 awol in my previous job pero 1week lang pinasok sa both jobs na yun and hindi ko sila dinisclose sa resume ko nag apply ako in a company na nagcoconduct ng background check and requirements yung employment history so narealize ko malalaman din nila yung undeclared employments ko and now nawawalan na ako ng hope na matutuloy employment ko dahil dun. naging lesson po ito sakin pero ano po ba dapat gawin next time, ilagay po ba sa resume or iopen nalang yung about dun upon interview. salamat po.

    Hello. I don't know where to begin but I'm hoping you could help me clear my mind. I was in a BPO company for more than a year now and then they fired me for call avoidance. Now before I got fired. They gave me a 30 days suspension no pay and after that I have to attend an HR hearing. But I was really down even after 30 days I did not attend the HR hearing and they just terminated me right away. My question is, can I still get a job after getting fired? And do I have to disclose it? And was it considered AWOL since I did not attend the HR hearing?

      They might consider it AWOL. To answer your question, sure you can still get a job after getting fired for that reason. But it all depends on your strategy - like how you will respond to the interviewer. If it's not asked, you need not mention it, though if it's in your resume, they will really ask you about it and if they do, you can disclose it but be creative with how you answer. Say something about what you learned from it and what you will do to avoid that from happening again.

    Hi Ms Rea, 2 weeks plng po ako sa work, then I immediately resigned po because of family emergency- death of family member, pero stated po kasi sa contract ung 60days notice. pero nagpush po ako ng immediate resignation kasi ayon po family emergergency tlga. wla pa po akong final pay at hindi na nagrereply ung hr sakin, balak ko po sana not to disclose na ung company na un sa work hisotry ko, pero naka list na sya sa employment history ko sa sss, pagibig and philhealth at my employer contribution na dn. hindi na dn kasi sila nagrereply regarding clearance and coe ko ( hindi ko dn po kasi nacomply ung notice period and proper turnover because of immediate resignation), pero nagrereach out po ako sa kanila regarding process ng clearance and coe but no reply. (not my first job po etoh). should i disclose pa dn po ba sa interview na nagwork ako sa kanila? Thank you.

      But the atm card should be given na by friday, yes? In time for your payday? If your concern is baka ma hold ang salary, better wait after you get it nalang before you submit your resignation. Hope that helps.

    Hi Ate Rea! I just got a job offer and I will start by Monday. I have an experience with bpo for almost a year. But with that experience,nag awol ako because of bagyong odette na nangyari sa Cebu po and because of burn out. I haven't signed the JO muna and told them my awol. Nnaginginig ako sa kaba dahil diko alam if tama po ginawa ko. Di pa po kasi sila nag rereply

      Miss Rea Ninja...dis video of yours give me such ray of sunshine and hope...I've been to a lot of bpo companies but i didn't stay long in every company I've been to..just wanna ask if i need to disclose my employment in a specific company if i fail the final written assessment on the 2nd month of our in-room (Vendor Fundamentals Training)?..I was able to receive my final salary and backpay though..I was also cleared for any liabilities...is it a good remarks on hr's end or a bad move???tnx in advance💙

    Ano po pwede ireason in my case. I'm still working on my current company pero may interview po ako this week because im searching for another job kasi maliit po ang offer sakin dito sa current company na pinapasukan ko pero ayaw ko po matengga thats why nagapply po ako sa ibang company while im still employed. I wonder if the interviewer will ask me bakit di ka pa resign? Ano po maganda isagot TIA.

      @@ReaNinja yes po nag render naman po ng maayos ng 30days. Problem lang po is ndi pa po ako nakapag pa clearance sa previous. Nagkaroon po kasi ng misunderstanding sa na lipatan na company which is work from home set up daw po then upon starting na po ng work onsite na po and other thing is ung site na malayo po na ang usapan is reporting onsite sa alabang not sa MOA. Then, kung aalis din po ba ako sa nalipatan ko another render for 30days po right?

      May karapatan kang mag reklamo. I don't think going on awol will solve it. Direct it to the proper channel (maybe HR nyo) and take it from there 🙂

    I was hired last yr., it was my first BPO experience Ms. Rea and we were on our 2nd mos. of training for a technical account when the pandemic started. To maintain social distancing the company was forced to limit it's employees and advised us trainees to go home for the mean time and this went on for almost a month. Since then I wasn't able to come back because traveling restrictions were very tight and the company knew about this since they called me several times.. Does this count as AWOL? I'm planning to apply for a new company so I'm really torn right now

      Technically yes but it shouldn't be your fault. You can explain that to your next employer and im sure they will understand..

      Hi @Urgaysprout !! We have the same situation although I’m on a different field lang and I got regularized just 1 month before the lockdown happened. I just want to know if you’re employed now and how did you disclose your awol status to your current employer? Thank you so much!!
