- Dual Layers, It can be tricky, but the more you do it, the easier it gets. Here is a light bearing Full size P320, With TLR1, QLS Fork and speed Lock Gen 2 hood.
Process start to finish is literally the same but with 1 extra step.
Hardware may change do to varying thicknesses, but all the same more or less.
Most importantly, have fun and be safe

Son of a gun! Add hair to it, I was thinking that in my head as I used that for auto shop 20 plus years of teaching, and then it was said!!!! LMAO!!!! Great videos keep them coming!
I almost commented “awww man, you should’ve put red washers on it”. But you read my mind! Beautiful
Awsome! Looks so easy. Made some holsters and know thats for me not so easy😂😂
Great video!!
Got my ocd going overtime 🤣🤣
I don’t miss blocking for foam pressing at all.
You should do a video of your dual layer vacuum form 👍
Been thinking about getting the stuff to make my own holsters and sheaths. These videos are very interesting and I love the fact I can make my own safariland type holsters. Great video
Wow, just found you. I was having a difficult time finding a light and rds bearing holster for my wife. I stumbled upon this video because of the speed lock aspect, and I was very pleasantly surprised by your work and site. Will be ordering, subbing, liking, and watching. Your work is great!
Hell ya!
Very well done, you make it look very easy.
Almost 8 years in the making. But believe me, I still mess up
Damn dude this is one of the best custom holster I've ever seen! Keep up the good work.......PS: If I was living in the US I would have been a regular of yours 😂
Ok, the foam drop was impressive!!! Lol
Kind of scared me haha
@@FalTacUnlimitedLLC haha 😂 I could imagine! Lol
I really enjoy watching your work. Keep up the good work!
Sweet looking holster! Nice work!
Awwwww, your dogs are beautiful, that holster is beautiful, thanks again brother.
👍Always very informative and entertaining.
The devil really is in the details! Beautiful 👍🤠
I've watched a few of your videos now and you got the sub with the cleeter reference.....keep doin it for dale brother
I just bought his newest shirt and the grass lol
Do you make a holster for the P 320 with a bullet trap?
The heck is a bullet trap lol
@@FalTacUnlimitedLLC I guess that is a question. A bullet trap is what catches your rounds fired at an indoor range when your not hitting the ceiling. It was a joke as the 320 has a history of discharging on it's own.
Nice job with camera ... amazing...
Hell yeah man!! Turned out awesome. I’m building an EZ appendix rig with spare mag, sidecar I guess? Lol it’s my own compact design that resembles a sidecar 🤷♂️ this guy picked the ugliest color combo you could imagine too haha desert carbon fiber on front and zombie green on back, it’ll be so ugly it’s gorgeous I believe!! Lol
Ya what an ugly combo but have fun building it!
@@FalTacUnlimitedLLC I told him to look through my extra kydex and if he found something he liked I’d knock a few bucks off since it was extra material Lol he’s a repeat customer so I go the “extra mile” for him 👍🏼
great work..thanks for showing you beast press.
That came out sweet!!!
Looks awesome can't wait to get it!!!!!!!
Do you have a video of explaining how you get retention from blocking
You don't get retention from blocking. Blocking stops retention points
You have stocks in blue painters tape huh? 😅
I know this is an old video... where is the retention point on the TLR? You got a good interface fit at the end of the video... what is it "clicking" on since the trigger guard is a no-go?
right behind the bezel is my retention point
Espetacular parabéns 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤩
What is those white blocks you put by the light? And the metal bars you used to make your ridges? Where do I get them. Thanks man
The whites are call round widgets and will be available on my sight shortly. And the flat bars are from homedepot. I cut to size. You can also find some at Holstersmith.com
Thanks man! Love your work
Good stuff.
How do you get the tape to stick to the mold prop? I can’t get mine to stick at all. It’s a real pain holding the blocking in place when the tape holds for less than a min before falling off.
Lmfao. Gotta clean the mold my man. Clean with brake clean and or alcohol.
@@FalTacUnlimitedLLC Thanks, I’ll try brake kleen. I’ve used Dawn dish soap and alcohol but maybe I need a little more elbow grease with it lol.
@@corywilson3724 ya not a problem. I actually just mentioned it in a video I'm doing now
Where did you get the blocking for the hood? I thought I remember you mentioning holster smith, but I can’t find it on their website
I have a set from holstersmith and I made the flat aluminum ones. But HS does have it
I ended up buying an 8-32 die to get that stuff off of the Safariland hardware.
Are all you're Holsters OWB with these special brackets ect ?
Will dual colors separate over time ?
What brand molds do you prefer?…. I’m new to this and There are so many options out there. I’d like to know which are the absolute best to work with….
Multimolds for full molds. Palehorse for splits
I would love to see a holster exactly like this but suede lined. Unfortunately I can't find anyone who can even make a holster for my gun without suede lining.
I used to do suede lining. However it's a liability. Glue softens after a while and now you have foreign debris in your holster. Plus suede holds dust and dirt good, becoming sand paper. I can do a video on it though. I think I have suede in the shop
That'd be awesome if you could. Thats one reason I always liked the safariland holsters is the suede lining. Even if I couldn't get suede lining, I'd still like to get a holster made but I can't find anyone who can do my specific weapon/light combo
I see that you sanded off all the side controls off the mold. Have you noticed any clearance issues?
i sand them down so blocking lays flat
@@FalTacUnlimitedLLC I figured that’s why. I had considered doing that but was worried about messing with the clearance
@@andrewbrewer4635 no way. The blocking is usually taller. If not a double up blocking or use a thicker piece. I color it black to remember there are controls there
@@FalTacUnlimitedLLC ya I’m watching your Hk video now and see that!!
Just wondering where to get all the blockings
I made 90% of what i use from stock at homedepot. Holstersmith is the other
@FalTacUnlimitedLLC any suggestions where from to get stuff am not a USA. I come from UK
@thelifemomentsextreme7825 do you have a hardware store? Amazon? It's just 1/8 thick metal cut to shapes. Try metal fab shops as well and get the scrap
Have you done any suede lined on the outside before? I found a 7 year old Phlster video about it, but I'm curious on your take for application and whatnot.
I have done suede inside. You can buy pre applied suede to kydex at holsterbuilder.com good on vac press. Sucky on foam. I've done Cordoba covered as well
Where can I buy the blocking for the flashlight? The rounded widgets
Diyholster.com when they have them in
Where did you find the rounded widgets for the light?
I sell them from time to time
Any plans for a 226 with x300u-a?
i actually think i have one coming up
How much would you charge for that?
What do you use to press it? 🤔 What jack type is that?
modified motorcycle jacks
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hi whats that to replace the muzzle? and how do you attach it?
The socket? For the threaded barrel, it's screwed on
What kind of press are you using
Both my foam press and vac table are home made. They have speakers videos on them too
@@FalTacUnlimitedLLC cool I'm going to buy a vac table saw a few between $250&600 any suggestions
@@FalTacUnlimitedLLC right on I'm probably going to spend the money on the ones I can just buy cuz I'm a not that mechanically inclined and I'll take a shortcut I don't mind but I'm not going to get started till probably next month and the reason I got interested in this is because I bought a light from my operator last week and I cannot find a holster to fit my tlr1 mounted on an operator apparently the operator slide and frame or bit thicker than the normal 1911 so I started looking into this and I was like hey man come with this I know I'm being long-winded and I apologize but I also want to ask cuz I still haven't found a good holster for this what I'm looking for is a level 2 retention Safari Land type holster that will fit my operator with a tlr1hl if you can help me out let me know I'll pay for it absolutely that's all I wanted brother thank you
@@kirbymoffatt3641 I want to say I have the Springfield operator. But I'd have to look at my massive collection of molds lol
@@FalTacUnlimitedLLC wich works best
Wish I could find them widgets
Round widgets are on my website ready to go
15:47 - what did you sing?
Part from Baby it's cold outside
I was wondering why I had not seen any videos seen the sublimation video but TH-cam unsubscribed me
Oh man, that's messed up!
Thought it was supposed to be red and gray... you sure its not foliage green and bubblegum?...🤣
I mark the sheets when they come in hahahahaha
where do you get your fake firearm models?
holstersmith
Somewhat a clown-ish presentation, but apparently a reasonable work project produced.
Great video!!
Got my ocd going overtime 🤣🤣
