Volvo Trucks - What’s it like to drive an electric construction truck?

Since the autumn of 2020, Volvo Trucks have collaborated with construction company Swerock to run pilot tests with two fully electric heavy-duty trucks in Sweden. Truck operator Karl-Johan shares his experiences of what it’s like to drive an electric truck in the daily operations - and what he believes will be the future of electric transports.

Even though I prefer an old fashion diesel truck I'm glad this exists because if electric trucks do become the future I would hate to see the roads filled with Tesla trucks, I can't prevent the world changing, even if it's going in a direction I don't want it to, I would at least like a variety of options to make it easier for me to make the change.
I hope these become an option here in America for the American volvo trucks

There is no one silver bullet solution available to cut carbon emissions. We will see a gradual introduction of alternative drivelines including battery driven trucks and gas driven trucks over the next couple of years. I feel these things are a little scripted, he says the noise of a modern Volvo is a problem, it's really not (I drive an FH3 or FH4 every day)
But I do really support electric trucks anyways
