To be honest ive tried it and its a little funky, the strands are kinda slippy if its straight and it is wierd and doesnt absorb the glue as well as synthetic. Also maybe that might make a voodoo doll
For everyone wanting to recreate this look with the official hair length, make the hair a bit longer than you think you'd need because of the shrinkage, I also recommend curling the ends of the hair if you have the time, just a quick little flip to really complete the vibe.

I tried with my own hair! It worked but I actually hated the look of it as I used hair that I needed to cut anyway. So I removed all of it in the end.
