I am a life long Chiefs fan since I was born in 1970! My dad is a HUGE Chiefs fan, so that pretty much made me a Chiefs fan. The only regret that I have from truly enjoying the Chiefs win over the Eagles is that they had to beat Jason Kelce to win it.... Jason is a national treasure, and I will truly be sad when he decides to retire, thank GOD he will still be around on the podcast.... hopefully anyhow! :D

The way Chris Long talks, ya dont get pro-athlete vibes from him and I mean that as a compliment. He talks like a regular dude who doesn't have his head up his ass and you can relate to him and he has such genuine conversation with the guests, its honestly refreshing. Jason is also another humble athlete who understands that they are just dudes doin their job and can be superstars and normal human beings the same time. Need to get Chris on New Heights asap!

Hurts is overrated. He has to have guys push him from behind to get a yard. The Eagles were overrated and couldn't even sack a gimpy Mahomes once. Hurts fumbled the ball without getting hit and turned that into a Chiefs touchdown. So how can anyone think Hurts had a great game. You can't have a great game when you fumble a TD. That was the biggest play in the game and Hurts lost the game for the a Eagles plain and simple. He also got sacked twice by the Chiefs and he's supposed to be a great runner. The best running QB during the Superbowl was Mahomes when he ran for 30 yards to lock up the game with a minute left. And Mahomes had a badly injured ankle. I'm tired of hearing about Hurts squatting 600 lbs when he needs guys pushing him from behind.. Cry Eagles Cry. Lol. Eagles are losers. I like Jason but he's the second best Kelce. Go Chiefs
Chris Long really enjoyed his time with the Eagles and it was only 2 years. I was surprised how well he played for us too. I'm pretty sure his Super Bowl with the Eagles means a lot more to him than the one with the Patriots

Great ex-teammate interview! Glad they tackled the issue of health & head injuries. Jason wearing bubble-wrap on top of his helmet hat was a good look in last year's training camp 😁! Think football needs to old-school and get rid of all the hard shell gear if the league is truly serious about reducing injuries (especially head injuries). Think hard shells do far more harm than good 🙄. Australian rules football & rugby are very similar sports and don't use such equipment 🤔, so idea needs to be looked at (at all levels..) in American (& Canadian) football, comparing injury rates. The sound of helmets banging into each other shouldn't be reason we watch (& play) the game, isn't for me. Think play would improve (rather drastically) if players weren't encumbered by helmets, shoulder pads, etc. that reduce visual & overall body awareness. I know they have to be neutral because they are in a broadcasting career, and Chris has a Rams and Pats past as well as his fathers allegianc to the Raiders growing up, but to be a legendary Eagle and not fully understand the TO situation or the full appreciation of what the franchise was before and after Mcnabb is disappointing. Maybe a few more years out of the league and more engulfed in the culture, they will get it. Chris needs a few more tailgates with some old school pre Reid Mcnabb Era fans to get the pulse of what's going on. NFCE 80's and early 90's was WAR in a league trying to rebuild a reputation after 2 strikes.the Birds in those days were warriors outspent, outclassed, out talented, fighting for a broadcast space on a crappy local TV station. They fought tooth and nail for all of us for a single post game on field interview. I loved this interview otherwise. We carry the legacy of the forgotten who came before us, amd if you don't get why it matters on Sunday for the people you invite into your living room, week after week, year after year and losing season after losing season seeing a tiny spark in a walk on in camp, you just don't get it. It's a FAMILY thing and we are emotionally involved in our brothers battles. We will fight for the memory of a long forgotten player well past his prime because of a single play on a forgotten Sunday in a season that nobody remembers.

They fought tooth and nail for all of us for a single post game on field interview. I loved this interview otherwise. We carry the legacy of the forgotten who came before us, amd if you don't get why it matters on Sunday for the people you invite into your living room, week after week, year after year and losing season after losing season seeing a tiny spark in a walk on in camp, you just don't get it. It's a FAMILY thing and we are emotionally involved in our brothers battles. We will fight for the memory of a long forgotten player well past his prime because of a single play on a forgotten Sunday in a season that nobody remembers.
