Jason is so humble. Travis said he wears 87 because it's the year Jason was born. That's gotta be a proud big brother moment for him, but you never hear him acknowledge it. You can hear the reverence whenever Travis talks about him. It's so cool and sweet. Great episode RC, Fred and Chan!
I think he doesn’t acknowledge it because he gets emotional about it lol The one time I ever heard him mention it, he got choked up and couldn’t really finish. So I imagine that’s why he keeps a lot of that stuff to himself, at least publicly. You’re so right about Trav, too. You can always see the reverence when he talks about Jason. It’s unquestionable that Travis Kelce wouldn’t be the man or player he is without Jason, and that hits me in the feels every time. I have siblings but don’t have close bonds with any of them due to our huge age gaps so seeing what sibling relationships should look like is bittersweet. Knowing how unlikely it is for two brothers to have that kind of bond and respect and reverence for one another makes it even more impressive and heartwarming. As a Chiefs fan, Jason will always be just as much a part of Chiefs Kingdom as he is the Eagles, just by affiliation. That’s fam. When he wins in anything in life, it’s a Chiefs Kingdom win. It’s made any potential rivalry with Philly pretty impossible to establish, regardless of how good they are, because it feels like we’re sharing custody of Jason 😂 and co-parents aren’t supposed to fight in front of the kids, so we gotta stay respectful and cordial.
The first time I watched The Pivot on TH-cam, not just snippets from social media. You guys did a good job, very respectful, and asked very interesting questions. I've learned a lot about football and Kelce fam and Taylor. This is a top tier talk show, from the audio, visual, editing, the hosts, and guests. Love it!

As an eagles fan, im happy to see Jason so relaxed and happy. Im glad he retired with his health. And im glad he brought the city a chip.

Excellent interview. Really great, thoughtful questions. I can see Jason Kelce doing the executive MBA program at Wharton. I could see him being a legendary football coach for any of the Universities in Philly. I can see him as mayor, I can see him forming and leading an entirely new political party. All of you are just good people.
