Indeed! I'm a strong believer in a cut 4th point to point (Technically 5th if you count the one found in the beta) that takes you from Sunrise Valley, via that route to the bridge in 88 Interchange, that you then follow over to the Airport Terminal. You can even see that these roads actually exist on the map, but aren't used in game.
@@alextimossi7444 It seems you've already commented on the cut 4th point to point. Link here though: th-cam.com/video/iGKmjQUxYh8/w-d-xo.html As for the theory I was talking about, I haven't put it into video form yet. But here's my discussion about it over on Reddit: www.reddit.com/r/Burnout/comments/wo5rih/burnout_2_a_birdseye_view_of_a_lap_of_88/ikanmkb/
@@NoBillsOfCrashDamage You're right, it doesn't. I assume Burnout 3's culling techniques are a bit more advanced in that regard, one one might expect from a sequel.
0:52 on your left under the train bridge you'll eventually connect to interstate loop after a few miles of a route 66 like road

Apparently from 0:40 onwards it's possible to briefly see traffic popping on the vacuum.
I suppose it's a by product of the traffic remaining loaded, but is still in the area the car "sees" so it's not culled.
@@OmniGlitcher
That doesn't seem to happen in Takedown. Normal traffic just leaves a shadow behind if it's deep into the vacuum.

@@OmniGlitcher
That's probably it. There definitely was a huge leap between Point of Impact and Takedown in just about every aspect.
